Today is Thanksgiving day. It is today that we are suppose to be thankful for many things including Faith, Family, Friends. Today we gather round those closest to us and share our gratitude with eachother. Why shouldn't we be thankful everyday. This last year has been a hurricane bearing down on us. This last year has taught us not to take every moment for granted. Each smile, each hug, each kiss, each and every little perfect imperfection should be taken in with all our hearts and treasured. Today I am extra thankful to God our Creator and Ruler of the Universe for giving me My Husband and this way of life that I have. For my mom and dad who gave me life. For my children who gave me motherhood. And for my mother in law and father in law for raising the most amazing man in the world. and may all my friends and loved ones be as blessed as I am.

Connecting with the horse

This is a 3 year old blue roan I am training for my client. We are riding him in the arena without a halter. After his eighth ride he has learned to disengage his front quarters. And trailer loads quite smoothly. He is making good progress and showing great promise. I think my client will be very pleased with him.

When I first started my clinic, training a 3 year old horse, he was spooky, and wouldn't run in full circles. He would try to run me over as I led him around. He also hated water. But as I work with him he learns alot every day. I can get him to walk on a tarp, under a canopy and give hm a bath. His reining was so bad especially when we were by other horses,but now I can get him to rein whichever way l want. He is showing so much promise, I can't wait to see how he is going to turn out to be.

We have a beautiful 6 year old Palomino mare for sale she is available now but her training will last into the spring. She is friendly, likes water, kid friendly. She has had 15 rides so far and that continues to go up as she gets rode often and every ride she proves time and time again on how great of a horse she can and will be. She is a quick learner as well. She loves to work and do what you ask of her. She as is great around cattle and riding through the pasture. Very sound and calm horse, great for any rider!
