After 18+ years in business, we have had the honorable duty of being with several pets in their last moments. Some parents are not emotionally or physically able to be present at these times and we are always open to be the comforting face next to them as they pass on.

Of all of those times, Fluffy may have taken the most from our hearts when we sat next to her on Monday as she drew her last breath and said goodbye.

Fluffy was a strong, vibrant 23 year old cat who we had the blessing of loving for the past 12 years on a daily basis. She lived with her elderly mom who could not administer her daily meds and twice-weekly sub-q fluid treatments so we visited each day to make sure she was taken care of with meds, food, water, and litter duties attended to. To say we were attached would be just a slight understatement 😉

Fluffy was a dedicated, healthy companion right up until her last days, always sleeping with her mom and never not by her side wherever she was in the house. We know she hasn’t completely left her post and will always be watching over her mom.

We owe a huge heartfelt thank you to the entire team at K. Vet Animal Care who kept her as healthy as she was for all of her years through regular acupuncture, holistic care, and the unparalleled dedication that the office provides.

Rest easy, sweet girl 🐾🌈🧡

Many of you already know the fated love story of Jameson and I. For those who don't, here's a quick recap:

Jameson was up for adoption and I fell in love with him through pictures and videos online. We had 2 dogs and many other pets at the time, and adopting another dog just wasn't in the cards for us. He was adopted, I was heartbroken and I thought that was the end of the story. Fast forward a few years and it turns out one of my clients is the cousin of Jameson's adopted family ... and they were looking for a pet sitter. I couldn't have said "yes" faster. I didn't care that he lived an hour outside of my service area.

As I have said before, I have never been greeted by a dog before or since like I was with Jameson on that consult. We were meant to be together in this life in some way or form. I have never doubted that for a second.

Walking through the door to his little squeals of excitement made my heart swell each and every time. Our time together was never long enough and saying goodbye broke my heart, even though I knew I'd be back soon. He was one of my best friends and one of my soul mates.

Jameson lost his battle with cancer this week. Even though I hadn't sat for him in awhile, his dad always kept me updated with pictures and stories about how he was doing.

I miss my buddy and I know we will find each other again. Rest easy 💜

We had the honor of escorting Oscar for the day of his mom & dad's wedding on Saturday at the gorgeous at Fernstone Retreat in Farmington! Oscar had the important role of walking down the aisle with the ring bearer and singing his approvals & applause with the audience at the ceremony.

After his photoshoots were done, he was able to relax with us and his friends, Effie & Dino, while all the parents partied the night away!

Coleman would like to grab everyone’s attention with his adorable sleepy face to announce an important change for Petite Feet Pet Care coming in 2026::

After much debate, we will no longer be offering slumber parties as a service for the foreseeable future. We understand how popular this service is and how important it is for peace of mind for our clients which is why we do not make this decision lightly.

However, after 18 years in business and limited staff, our sitters are working nearly around the clock and aren’t sure if their families even recognize them anymore. We all need a better work/life balance and eliminating slumber parties is the best way we can think to make that balance a reality.

If you already have slumber parties booked in 2026, we will honor that and keep the schedule as-is.
No new slumber party bookings will be accepted for 2026 and we have extremely limited availability for the rest of 2025.

We understand this can throw quite a wrench in your travel plans. Please contact us to discuss specific care plans for your pets as we make this change, or if you have any questions or concerns.

As always, we are endlessly grateful to be able to provide the level of care and service that we do to the incredible clients that we have. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
