Happy Valentine’s Day! ❤️🐶

We couldn’t resist sharing these three adorable puppies today! 🥹💕 They completely stole the show at our clinic and filled our day with love and cuteness. 🐾

While today is all about love, let’s not forget to keep our furry friends safe! 🍫🚫 Chocolate toxicity in dog and cats is caused by theobromine and caffeine. So be sure to keep them out of reach.

Symptoms of Chocolate Toxicity:

⚠️ Mild to Moderate Symptoms:
• Vomiting and Diarrhea
• Restlessness or hyperactivity
• Increased heart rate
• Excessive thirst and urination

⚠️ Severe Symptoms (High Toxicity Levels):
• Muscle tremors or twitching
• Seizures
• Irregular heart rhythms
• High body temperature
• Collapse or even death in extreme cases

Even small amounts can cause symptoms, so keep all chocolate out of reach!

What to Do if Your Pet Eats Chocolate?
1. Call your vet immediately! 📞
2. Provide details: type of chocolate, amount, and your pet’s weight.
3. If caught early, the vet may induce vomiting or use activated charcoal to prevent absorption.
4. Severe cases may require hospitalization for fluids, heart monitoring, and medications.

🛑 Prevention Tip: Keep Valentine’s chocolates, desserts, and wrappers safely stored away from pets!

🐶🦷 Puppy Dental Check Alert! 🦷🐶

Sometimes, we see double canine teeth—both baby and adult teeth trying to share the same space! This is most commonly observed in puppies when they are around 6 months old. This isn’t normal and can lead to malocclusion (bite issues) if not treated early.

Today, sweet Dobby came in for a checkup, and she was a superstar! 🌟 All our nurses absolutely fell in love with her. Can’t wait to see her back for her booster vaccines! 💕
