Left untreated, chronic pain from arthritis and other common age-related conditions can negatively affect your senior pet’s quality of life. But prompt diagnosis and treatment can restore comfortable mobility, allowing your senior pet to age with grace—not pain.

Subtle—and not so subtle—pain signs may include:
Panting
Hunching
Hiding
Increased sleeping or restlessness
Irritability or aggression
Decreased interest in physical activities or play
Avoiding physical contact
Increased or decreased grooming

Schedule an appointment if your senior pet is demonstrating any of these common pain signs.

Halloween treats can be deadly for dogs xylitol , found in sugar free candies and gum, and theobromine, found in chocolate, are toxic and can cause severe health issues or even be fatal. Always keep candies out of your pet’s reach and monitor for accidental ingestion. If your dog eats candy, identify the type and amount, then contact your veterinarian or Pet Poison Helpline immediately. Prevention is key to keeping your furry friend safe this spooky season! 🎃🐾
