June is National Microchipping Month to bring awareness of the importance of microchipping your pet!

Microchips are not GPS trackers, but they can provide information to get your pet back to you if they becomes displaced.

Things you can do to observe this month:

*Microchip your pet
Protect your pet, and yourself, by getting them chipped. We offer this service at any exam or during surgical procedures.

*Check your pets microchip.
Ask us to scan and check for the chip while you are in the clinic and make sure that the chip is still in place. Then please make sure that all your information is up to date and correct with the microchip company.

*Promote microchipping
Encourage others to protect their pets too. Tell all the pet owners you know about your positive experience with microchipping, and raise awareness about this month.

We are very excited to announce that Dr. Tracy Burt will officially join the Ace Team in July!!! 🎉🎊🩺💉🐶🐾😻
Dr. Burt was born and raised in Michigan where her passion for animal welfare began at a young age. She has been a Veterinarian for 15 years and has experience in general medicine & surgery, hospice care, and emergency medicine. Outside of working, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and hanging out with her rescued pets- 2 affectionate cats and an adorable pug. ❤️🐱🐱🐶
And of course, she is Steven approved. 😻
You may have met her, or will meet her as she continues to work with us as a relief vet through May and June. We are very excited to officially have her on our team, along with Dr. Gill, to continue to provide excellent care for your pets!
