At every LE decoy course, there are almost always decoys who have never taken a bite before. This was the case today. Through some clunky new drills, reassessing training, and repeating fundamentals until they were right, a brand new decoy made a safe catch on day one and felt the difference. Still a lot to learn and a long way to go. After class he said “thanks for getting me back out there, I just don’t want to hurt a dog.” My decoy heart was happy.
