Lincoln and Mango’s Valentines Litter have the precious faces of their mom and outgoing personalities of their dad, the perfect mix!

Both mom and dad are fully tested through OFA.

It’s no April Fools joke! We have confirmed the pregnancy of our sweet girl Stacey!

Our Elmer x Stacey litter of standard Bernedoodles is expected to be here early May!

Elmer is our beautiful AKC Bernese Mountain Dog male who is currently out campaigning for his AKC conformation championship. He is a gentle, cuddly boy, who stepped into the place of our sweet girl Buttons as a nanny dog for our older puppies.

Stacey is a gorgeous cream AKC Standard Poodle. She is a perfect match in temperament for Elmer, as she is also gentle and sweet. She regularly plays mom with our smaller dogs and will spend hours licking them clean. Stacey’s cutest trait is that she softly jumps up and gives hugs, and several of her puppies do that too! This is Stacey’s 2nd and possibly last litter!

We expect puppies will be 50lbs and higher, with tris, tri merles, and bi colors expected. Both mom and dad are fully health tested and structurally tested via OFA.

Photo shoots are exhausting work as you can see! Mangos Valentine’s Day puppies are 6 weeks old now but are VERY chill. Structure and temperament are super important to us, and having a chilled out, relaxed, happy litter is always a great sign to us that we are doing things right!

Lincoln and Mango’s mini goldendoodle puppies are almost three weeks old now! All six are super chubby and perfectly healthy.

Fun fact: These guys are 19 days old, which means they still cannot hear! As soon as we notice that the puppies start reacting to sounds, we start our Sound Exposure Program, which introduces them to loud noises and regular household goings on.

At 3 weeks our puppies also get their first worming and neopar shots to boost their immunities against parvovirus.

2 males and 1 female from this litter have been reserved. Selections take place following temperament testing at 7 weeks, Friday April 4th.

Both parents have been fully genetically tested and structurally tested through OFA.

Marky Mark (but not the entire Funky Bunch) is still hoping to find his perfect family.

Mark is a medium goldendoodle from our Greys Anatomy litter. He weighs 30lbs and is mostly fluff!

This sweet boy is super calm and gentle and loves to snuggle on the couch.

He is very smart, his dad is our most highly trained trick dog, and Mark inherited his father’s genes.

Mark is already neutered as well as crate trained, leash trained, house trained, and is an all around Very Good Boy™️

He would do well in pretty much any household. He seems to adjust well to any type of energy, situation, or environment. He loves other dogs and is cat neutral.

Lincoln and Mango’s mini goldendoodle puppies are just over the one week mark! These tiny little cuties are growing so well!

Fun fact: At this age, they still need their mom for absolutely everything, but they become aware of their siblings, which they weren’t previously! They are still navigating the world through touch and taste, but they won’t be able to hear or see for almost 2 more weeks!

Sometimes people ask about our mom’s short coats and shaved ears and faces.

Once the pregnancy is confirmed, we shave the girls down. This typically takes place about halfway through the pregnancy. This allows her babies easier access to nurse, but enough hair grows back that the puppies don’t scratch her with their tiny claws. It also allows mom to be a little cooler lying on a heating pad.

Birth can also be quite a messy process, so having a short coat allows us to clean up the moms via a sponge bath and dry her quickly with a towel so she spends minimal time away from her babies the first few weeks. Having them in full fluffy coat can sometimes be a management nightmare when you want to keep the moms clean!

The final reason is that the moms blow their coat when the puppies are about a month old. For poodle moms, not so critical, but F1’s like Mango drop their hair like crazy. Then, it creates a huge mess in the room, sticks to all the pads, and then causes issues with our laundry machines!

Ultimately we’ve just found that this works really well for us, and our mommas seem to be happier as well! We happen to think they are cute either way!

We have some sweet sweet surprises!

Mango surprised us with 6 healthy puppies a few days early and delivered on Valentine’s Day!

These little mini goldendoodles are expected to be 15-20lbs fully grown.

We will be posting individual photos this Sunday, so be on the lookout!

We get a lot of questions about how we desensitize our puppies to different things. While a lot of our equipment might surprise you (trash bags, wobble boards, ball pits, and closets full of other things) we also like our puppies to be desensitized to other pets that might be in your house, which includes cats! We’d like to introduce you to our team of EIGHT (yes, EIGHT!) cats who help your puppies learn how to be gentle with others.

We have 6 outdoor and 2 indoor cats who are allowed to meet puppies once they reach 5 weeks old. All of our cats LOVE dogs, which helps, but they will also correct the puppies if they start to play too rough.

The 4 newest girls, Regina, Gretchen, Karen, and Cady, were adopted this fall, Simon and Mack were COVID kittens, and Aspen and Posie are my daughters cats and live with her at her house.

Aside from being great for our puppies, these guys help keep the 35 acres mouse, mole, (small) snake, and other pest free! They enjoy their lives as farm cats and we appreciate all that they do!
