Our Pony Club had a great day at the TBEA Dressage Show () and the Oregon Region Pony Club’s first dressage rally! Our team came in Second for Horse Management and everyone had really good rides. It was a long but very fun day. Can’t wait for Eventing Rally at the One Days!

Iron Horse is hiring a Monday thru Friday AM staff position. Feeding, turnout, water troughs, barn clean up. Stall cleaning over two days is also available, more hours for grooming horses might be available. This is a W2 employment position and base pay starts at $18/hr with more negotiable for experience. HIRING: AM SHIFTS

Iron Horse Riding Center, located off Stafford Rd in West Linn, just a few minutes from the I-205 off ramp, is seeking a reliable and responsible person to join our team on a part-time basis. This position has the potential to grow to include more hours and responsibilities, including some grooming for trainers.

We are in need of someone comfortable handling horses to feed hay and grain, tend to water troughs in pastures, and turnout horses 4-5 days per week. Shifts start at 6:00am and take about 4 hours. We do have some flexibility on which days of the week need coverage but currently it is Monday to Friday.
We also need stall cleaning on one day (Fridays right now). We currently have 24 horses at our facility, and we are full.

Pay is negotiable and commensurate with experience, typically starting at $18/hr. This is a W-2 position.
