Wow, Ford has come a long way since last 1 week, after our first adventure out of the barn, in prep for the competiition. He has settled calmly and defiantly trusts me. 💙
He will cross every obstacle I have asked him to. well except for a water ditch, he would rather jump across 🙂 He does love the water!
He stands quietly next to me. Well, and he is also stalling alone without a care in the world knowing his friends are not near him right now.
He is going to be ready for the next person to advance him to be a solid riding horse.
He has the basics and a good foundation on the ground. He has not been ridden. He has had a saddle
on and weight on his back. I wanted to make sure he was solid on the ground as he is a big boy! 16hh and do believe he is still growing. He is 5 years old from South Steens. He was a well followed horse, “Stryker”. Photos were captured from days old to corrals.
He loads in the trailer and backs out.
He is available this Sunday, September 3rd Oregon Horse Center at the Teens And Oregon Mustangs Auction.
I’m hoping to keep in touch with him on his next adventure. Our family has loved on him dearly and will be so sad to see him go 💙
He has been fed Grass Hay, Alfalfa, and Platinum supplement. He drinks from a bucket or self waterer. His feet were just trimmed and recently wormed.
