Battle Ground Veterinary Clinic, PC We are an AAHA accredited practice that offers chiropractic, acupuncture and laser surgery. We offer rehabilitation services as well as puppy classes on site.

We are also seeing some exotics.

Kara began with us as a volunteer in 2011. She then joined our team as a Veterinary Assistant in November 2012. Kara worked with us while going through school to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. Kara graduated in 2015 from an accelerated program at International Business College – Vet Tech Institute with an Associate Degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. In 2018, Kara earned a postgraduate and state approved certification in Veterinary Massage and Rehabilitation Therapy from The Healing Oasis in Wisconsin.

Kara’s hometown is Saratoga Springs, NY. She enjoys her home life with her husband (Devin), her son (Harden), two German Shepherds (Ruca and Skyler), and a working K9 Belgian Malinois (Bo). Some of her hobbies include fitness, hiking, and Disney movies.

“I am blessed to have been in veterinary medicine for over a decade and I embrace that it is a career where I will never stop learning. I love working closely with my rehabilitation patients and their owners to deliver progress, pain relief, and a better quality of life for their beloved pet. Chatney began working at BGVC as a rehab, boarding, and veterinary assistant. She is currently attending Purdue University in the Veterinary Nursing Program to obtain a bachelor's degree. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, showing her Himalayan rabbits, concerts and going on adventures with her German Shorthair Pointer, Kato.

Breanna is one of our veterinary assistants. She joined our team in May of 2023 and has found her niche with things related to surgery. She is currently studying to be a registered veterinary technician through Purdue University's Distance Learning Program. She enjoys spending time with her numerous pets. Fun fact about Breanna, she showed rabbits in 4-H.

Sarah is a Registered Veterinary Technician who joined our team in 2021. Since 2023, she has been working remotely. "I am an avid cat lover who began my journey in the veterinary field in 2009 and became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2014. l have spent the last several years working in small animal practice as a veterinary technician with a passion for patient care, understanding disease processes, surgical nursing and anesthesia. I have had numerous cats and dogs over the years that have fueled my curiosity and driven my desire to expand my knowledge. In my off time, I enjoy being with my husband and our furry family, watching movies, playing video games, crafting and singing."

Carly started working at BGVC in June of 2023. She helps with our rehab and boarding patients. She will be a 2025 Graduate from William Henry Harrison High School. In the fall, she will be attending Purdue University studying Animal Sciences with a concentration of pre-veterinary medicine.

Devon is an Indiana native who attended Purdue University for both his undergraduate and veterinary degree. Growing up, he was heavily involved in 4-H and raised rabbits and poultry. He started working at BGVC in 2020. During his undergraduate career, he was an Animal Sciences Ambassador and participated in poultry, swine, and bovine research sparking his interest in reproduction. In veterinary school, Devon, held numerous leadership positions, most notable include president of Purdue's SAVMA Chapter, Curriculum Review Committee Student Representative, President of Purdue's Student Chapter of Society for Theriogenology and the sole student representative on Purdue's Veterinary Dean Search Committee. After veterinary school, he will be starting a Large Animal Rotating Internship at Purdue University and plans to apply for an academic theriogenology residency or go into mixed animal private practice. He has two cats (Max&Melon), a dog (Archie), and two guinea pigs (Twix&Latte).
