Are you or someone you know looking for a fun lease? A chance to be hands with horses without fully taking the plunge into horse ownership? Miss riding but can’t entirely commit to ownership? What about leasing our Miss Alice?
Owner posted: We are looking for someone to partial lease Miss Alice. Alice is a 18 year old Quater Horse/Arabian mare. She is a retired 4-H drill team horse. She loves to now take it easy and enjoys trails and light riding in the arena. Alice is super intelligent and is such a sweetheart. She is well behaved and eager to please.
For a partial lease we are looking for someone with horse experience. Someone who would be willing to come to Shawsay Farm in Indiana as this is Alice's forever home. This person would be able to ride Alice during week or weekends. I would just want someone who knows I will also want to continue to ride Miss Alice. She is my heart horse and will forever be, but with getting older I'm looking for someone who will help me give her the attention she deserves. We are looking for financial Support for this lease, which can be discussed.
Tack would be provided. Saddle, saddle pad, bridal, halter, grooming supplies included. If my saddles do not fit you, you are welcome fo purchase a sadle with correct fit for Alice. The only thing not provided would be a helmet. If any of our tack got broken from improper usage this would result in you covering the cost for a new item. She does use a break-away halter so if this snapped I am happy to re-attach the break-away piece and show you how to replace as well.
