The reined cow horse industry lost one of its greats.

Magicality โ€” affectionately known as โ€œRingoโ€ โ€” leaves behind a legacy that extends far beyond the show pen. From his success as a competitor to his impact as a sire, he helped shape the future of the sport through the horses, riders and fans who were fortunate enough to know him.

With more than $197,000 in lifetime earnings, countless championship accomplishments and an unmistakable presence every time he stepped into the arena, Magicality earned the respect and admiration of the entire western performance horse community.

โ€œHe gave absolutely everything every time you asked,โ€ Gusti Buerger said. โ€œHe had more heart than any horse Iโ€™ve ever been around.โ€

The NRCHA extends its deepest condolences to Home Ranch Performance Horses, Gusti Buerger and all who loved Ringo.

Today, we remember Magicality โ€” a stallion we were proud to have at The Valley during his time here. Weโ€™re thankful for the memories, the horses he produced, and the impact he made on so many along the way.
