Anyone who followed this little scream, knows him by the barn name Squishy, aka SixtySixShadesofDun. He is one of many that I have put on the ground, through foal training, yearling training and ultimately into his two year old year, when I started him under saddle. I just heard from the person who purchased him from me last year, Mr. Schrock. He told me that he really likes him and that he was his top 3 year old! Then he asked if I had anymore like him. ๐Ÿ˜Š Hearing this from people who have purchased my foals, yearlings, two year olds that I have bred, raised, started and trained, speaks volumes about my program and the quality put into it and each and every foal. I look forward to seeing what Squishy accomplishes.

Grit just made it to Cali! She has been traveling since Friday and seeing the world. The transporter took a moment to let me know that she is such a good filly, and how it makes a transporter's job so much easier with a foal that has gone through foal training like Grit. It is always nice to hear compliments like his. It shows the importance of foal training. The first 3 months of a foal's life is a critical training period. Trust me, they do retain the training and it sets them up for success!

Being asked multiple times if I would consider taking outside foals in for training, I guess I am going to put some thought into it. ๐Ÿ˜Š
