This mare is juggling two serious issues: a deep digital flexor tendon tear and founder in her hind feet. Her founder is currently stabilized, which gives us room to focus her therapy on the DDFT.

We’re applying oversized wedged egg bar shoes to allow more caudal support, less drop of the fetlock, support the tendon, improve her mechanics, and ease the added strain and discomfort created by the founder. Every adjustment is intentional and aimed at keeping her comfortable while steering her toward real healing.

On this Veteran’s Day, we pause to recognize the heroes who have served our country with strength and sacrifice.

Firewater Equine is proud to stand with the veterans in our community, and we are deeply grateful for the dedication they’ve shown both in and out of uniform.

To all who have served, thank you. Your courage deserves more than one day of appreciation.

At Firewater Equine, gait and movement are evaluated before and after every treatment to identify areas of compensation, pain, or imbalance. Dr. Loe studies foot placement, weight distribution, and stride symmetry to pinpoint the source of discomfort and confirm that each adjustment delivers real, measurable relief.

Because when it comes to your horse’s performance and comfort—we don’t guess, we assess.
