🐾Meet Rachel and Nicole - two of our amazing team members who have anchored our veterinary technician team over the years.
🐾Rachel has been an integral part of what makes our hospital special - for nearly 17 years. She is well-known to many of you because she bonded with your pets as she ran our WAH kennel back in the days when we boarded animals 24/7! Over the years, Rachel has demonstrated respectful, kind, compassionate care for animals and their owners. Rachel’s experienced medical, surgical and anesthesia nursing skills, along with her easy-going,humble, fun personality make her a natural lead Veterinary Technician at WAH. Any patient in Rachel’s care is a fortunate one. We have a saying here at WAH, “Everybody loves Rachel”, and we know why!
🐾Nicole just entered her 8th year at WAH. She first came to WAH as a client with her dogs Ginger and Blossom back in 2001. Dr. Behm quickly recognized Nicole’s kind heart, gentle demeanor and soft touch with her dogs - a natural caretaker of animals. After a few nudges by Dr. Behm to join our WAH team, Nicole finally agreed! Nicole has been an asset to our team daily as she runs Office Hours helping all three of our vets as they see patients day in and day out. Her caring, compassionate nature is evident to all of the clients and her team members. Having already worked in the human pharmaceutical field, it was a natural transition for Nicole to become the Inventory Manager her at WAH. We are all so grateful that she decided to be an integral part of WAH!
