Beck’s Fancy Fur donated this cute ice cream sundae basket, complete with an ice cream cone serving tray, matching bowls/spoons, to all the fixings for the benefit this evening. This was a super fun, great way to raise funds for the Clarke family, but what this evening showed me is priceless and I am almost speechless.

Tonight, a community unlike anything I have ever seen came together to support one very special family, to say it was astonishing would be an understatement. I seen clients, neighbors, friends, family, co-workers, and some complete strangers, walk through those doors with nothing but love for Nick and his family. To see this community come together as they did this evening fulfilled my heart and faith in humanity. To witness the compassion shared goes to show what an impact the Clarke family has had on all of our hearts, at one moment in time or another…someone in this family has engraved our memory and blessed us with some form of love, whether that be in friendship, instruction of teaching/guidance, leadership, employment, etc., these folks have went above and beyond for each of us and that type of love is what radiated the entire fire hall tonight. I am so humbled to see our community be such an amazing little fighting community. We will not give up and no one will ever fight alone. My deepest appreciation to each of you. Thank you for being !

Good snowy morning fb friends!! Be safe today.

Regarding my previous post, Nick Clarke still desperately needs our prayers…the prayers are working so please keep them coming. For anyone who doesn’t know Nick, he is the nicest guy you will ever meet. He is the epitome of kind, caring, and genuine. Now he needs our help, Nick is a lineman and was involved in a very tragic accident at work.

As the strong little community we are, we are pulling together to raise funds to help lighten the financial burden the family may endure. We are asking for raffle baskets donations for anyone or any business willing to donate. You can drop off at my shop or we are willing to pick up. We do ask that they be available by Tuesday so that we can have them ready for auction on Wednesday during the shirt pick up (please see the link below to order and only comment on the original post, on Barbie’s page). What’s Smokin’ BBQ has graciously accepted to cook for us and donating a percentage of their proceeds benefitting the Clarke family. This beautiful baby will be at the shop shortly for a desperately needed groom courtesy of Beck’s Fancy Fur then we will take him/her to see the vet and scan for a microchip. He/she was found in a drain pipe/culvert in the wee hours this morning where a kind family went searching for him/her after hearing a whimpering dog sound. Please call 724-833-5759 if you know who this sweet baby may belong to. I’ll try to do a live or at least post more pictures once the pup is here. Looks to be a doodle type, medium to large in size, black and white or gray in color from the Mt. Morris/Core Wv. Area but he could be missing from anywhere for who knows how long. My heart breaks just seeing these pictures and hearing this story, we can’t wait to pamper this baby. Stay tuned for a beautiful pupdate!

Wouldn’t it be an absolute miracle if we can find his owners and get him/her home in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas ❤️💚

Hey guys! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer and this beautiful HOT weather!

☀️ Quick update/reminders ☀️

-The shop will close Friday June 21, 2024 and will reopen on July 1, 2024. I will not be available for nail trims or any other services. The shop will be CLOSED. The voicemail will reflect this as well. All messages, call, and texts will be returned after July 1. Please spread the word.

-I’ve had some folks really worrying about the pick up time. Just to clarify, the 15 minute pick up time is NOT a strict 15 minutes. I’m kindly requesting that you be courteous and respectful of my time as well others and pick up your pet within a timely manner or there will be fees accrued, those of which were previously listed.

-With the high summer heat, please make sure your pet has adequate fresh water and shade when outside, do not allow them to walk on the hot pavement as the damage to their paw pads happens quickly and is very painful.
And last but not least…do not leave your pets in a hot car!!

Happy Monday and Happy June!!

New policies being implemented effective immediately.

Please read entirely as they are very important and will save you money.

-PICK UP TIMES, you have 15 minutes to pick up your pet once you are notified unless prior arrangements are agreed upon. After 15 minutes, the fees accrued will be $15 per every 15 minutes you are late. If you are not local, (because I am aware that I have clients that travel from all over), please alert me and I will notify you with ample time to get here from your location prior to the groom being completed. Most of you are well aware that I schedule grooms according to the amount of time it takes to complete the groom. I cannot allow your pets to stay for extended periods any longer. I don’t have the kennel space nor is it not fair to your pet to be locked in a crate for long periods, this amount of stress is not healthy for your pet.

-DOG 💩 Please be respectful of others and clean up after your pet. Not only is it stinky, it’s also very unhealthy, e.g. hook worm larvae is absorbed through paw pads, just one example as to how it’s unhealthy. It truly upsets me that I have had to go to this length but after cleaning multiple piles week after week prior to the mowing company’s arrival, security cameras are in effect both inside and outside. You will be charged a $25 fee if you if you do not clean up. I have and have always had 💩 bags and trash cans available at your convenience right inside the lobby.

-I am currently scheduling 9-10 weeks out for full grooms, not including bath & blows/desheds. I now have two strong assistants who work diligently along side me, eager and willing to learn so the days are flowing nicely. This makes being able to add more dogs to each day more manageable and less hold times for new appointments and reschedules.

I realize that these fees are steep and may seem absurd but unfortunately those who have taken advantage of said situations have ruined it for everyone. I have been extremely lenient all along but things have really spiraled out of control in regard to both situations.

It breaks my heart to have to inforce such policies because so many of you are more than accommodating when it comes to both issues and I appreciate you more than I can ever express but to some, I have become nothing more than a professional dog sitter/poo picker upper all the while making their pooch look pretty.
