As January comes to a close the crew at Lost Pet Drone Recovery was able to help reunite 11 pet owners this month with the latest being just this morning, All three teams had successful flights this month.
The key to us being successful has a lot to do with you the owners along with every day citizens, not always but in most successful flights we are there soon after the pet goes missing or their has been a recent sighting, this gives us an area to focus on VS just going in blind.
When we get that call where you pet has gone missing for several days with no sighting, it’s not that we don’t care (That can’t be farther from the truth) but we typically don’t come out, (we will if you insist) but your money we feel could be spent better on flyers and such vs hiring us.
Yes we have to charge to keep the wheels moving and the drone flying but that’s not our focus, we know when pets go missing a lot of owners are not thinking clearly and it’s our job to not take advantage of this but instead guide them on what’s best to do.
Michigan as a whole is very lucky we have a great drone community that is looking to do the right thing, but with that said we have scammers out there that say they are drone operators but don’t even own one and live 1000s of miles away Before reaching out to one of the companies, do a quick search on them, ask questions and Don’t send money upfront.
The next 4 months will be some of the best conditions for a drone to help, hopefully you will not need one but if you do we are here to help.
Stay safe everyone
