Meet Luca! 🐾
We are thrilled to have this big guy come visit for the first time! These days, life is a little slower for Luca. While he’s here, you usually find him soaking up the attention, keeping an eye on the yard, and reminding everyone that retirement suits him pretty well (at least we think that’s what he’s barking about).
Before hanging up the leash two years ago, Luca spent a long satisfying career as a working police K9, serving alongside his handler with unwavering dedication. While his patrol days may be behind him, the impact he made on his community certainly is not.
At Dogs of Dorr, we have a deep appreciation for working K9s, their handlers, and every member of public safety who puts on the uniform and serves their community. Thank you for the sacrifices you make, often without recognition!
Enjoy the well-earned retirement, Luca! You’ve earned every nap, every belly rub, and every extra treat. We’re looking forward to having you back at Dogs of Dorr. 🇺🇸🐕
