Hot weather doesn't stop cat rescue! Nancy got this fellow out Ulysses way, and we rendezvous at Aldi's with car air conditioners at full blast for a kitty swap (coupled with a Walmart stop for cat litter) He's off to Spay Neuter Save Network to get fixed tomorrow, then back to Nancy and on to his new home as a shop cat! When I pulled in the drive at home, FedEx was here with three big boxes of donated food from Debra.❤️

Peach returned to us after being adopted 4 years ago, in February. While she has been out and about for months, she's always chosen to sleep on top of the bathroom cabinet, or in a safe cubby. She overgroomed her paws and belly (her previous adopter told us she did that each time he moved multiple times). Today for the first time, she slept in a chair, and her fur is growing back on her legs, belly, and paws. She and Wiki chase one another playfully around the house (although she tends to pick on little Coraline). Whomever gives soft, sweet Peach a home will need to understand it will take a few months for her sweet self to come out of her shell. She is playful, quiet, and affectionate, with the softest fur ever. I wonder what her next chapter will be?

Two weeks ago Frosty the tom cat was caught after nibbling food each night on my porch. He was neutered at Spay Neuter Save Network and today I returned him to my barn. He didn't stay long, zooming away across the creek, up the hill, to my neighbor's pond area. He's probably been nibbling their cats' food over there, too. I'll keep his heated bed and food in both the barn and porch if he decides to venture back. (VIDEO)

**ALL SPOTS ARE SPOKEN FOR! Each quarter a winner will be announced on Debra's page and I'll post it on this page as well. Thank you everyone for helping us make ends meet for outdoor cats in need!**

Sunday morning, only TWO SPOTS LEFT! Want to play and help cats, too? Grab one of the last two (or both)! UPDATE: 17 left! UPDATE: Only 25 spots out of 100 left! I don't know why Deb's post I shared was removed, but I've added a link in the comments. ORIGINAL: Are you a football fan? Love cats, too? This fundraiser meets both passions! Almost half the squares are already spoken for, which means a bunch of spay/neuters for cats Debra has committed to help near Bath NY (long distance from Philly - I'm not sure how she manages that magic) AND she already sent 6 cases of wet food our way here at the Owl House. We'd love to fill every $20 square! https://www.superbowlsquares.org/AmericanCatProject And yes, that is one of our kittens playing with the football. 🏈 Closes on Feb 9th!!!! Misty and Hop Hop went to their new Homer NY digs about two weeks ago and were settling in wonderfully when their new mom reported in (and sleeping like royalty in her bed at night). That's four adoptions in just over 2 weeks!

Peaches was adopted about four years ago (not five as mentioned in the video) and was returned. We have a 'no questions' policy because...life happens! She a super soft, super sweet cat, who was a bit hissy with Wiki when she first met him but has decided he's nothing but a big mush. The bathroom is her realm, but she's slowly extending her empire! She would love a quiet home with someone who appreciates a playful gentle cat who will happily snooze in the darkness of your armoire (her current bed of choice here) and pop out to say 'hi' until she's sure of her surroundings. Check out her original story (and her cute kittens when she was a 'wild mom' on the streets) via the link in the comments. Who here has a Princess Peach kitten?
