The Owl House Foster Spot A small neighbors-helping-neighbors spay/neuter program on the Twin Tiers border of NY and PA.

We also sponsor medical care and foster for other organizations and landowners on a small scale We are friends who help landowners on the NY/PA state line spay/neuter outdoor cats, and sometimes sponsor medical costs and foster cats and kittens for landowners, veterinarians and others who do not have the space to do so themselves.

Nibbles is a 7 month cream-and-white teen who was brought in to be fixed at a PA vet clinic by a farmer, and we offered to socialize the kitten for him, so he could find him a home instead of being added to his barn cat population. Nibbles still plays keep-away (tail up!) but once you grab him he breaks into a huge purr and loves to be cuddled. He also loves other cats and has some fantastic wrestling bouts with my Wiki. He will sleep on your shoulder with his paw touching your cheek all night. FeLV/FIV negative, vaccinated, and neutered, if you'd like to ensure he doesn't go back to barn life!

Did you know Happy Compromise Farm + Sanctuary is within spitting distance of the Owl House? They have a free food stand and have monthly volunteer days. Follow them and give them a visit. Not sure? Come stop here and we can drive over to their stand together.

IF YOU ADOPTED A MICROCHIPPED CAT from the Owl House chances are good the microchip company (Found Animals Foundation, 24PetWatch) has been sold multiple times. HomeAgain microchips should be fine (although you probably have a very, very old Wildrun kitty if you have a HomeAgain chip from us). Please check your email or spam to see if you received a message that you need to update your information. If you NEVER registered your microchip after adopting from us, please direct message us so we can get your cat's microchip updated. Need help? Please contact us. If you are microchip-adverse, let us know and we'll gladly register the chip to us, and let you know if we ever receive a notification that your lost cat has been found. Microchips get lost cats home!
