Proud pony moment!
Rosie had a big day today — she did her very first canter under saddle!
She was calm, balanced, and so willing. It’s always such a special moment to feel a young pony start to understand and enjoy the work. Rosie has taken everything in stride so far, and today was no exception.

We’re so excited for what’s ahead for this sweet little mare. She’s growing up so beautifully!

Horse show excitement!! We had the best time horse showing this weekend!

Amelia did fabulous at her first show with Patrick! She rode beautifully worked through her challenges and had a very successful day! 🏆 she has also been helping start Rosie under saddle and was the first person to trot her all the way around! Go Amelia!! Watch out ponies Amelia and Rosie will be entering the show ring soon! 🥇

Scout and Patrick did amazing in adult pleasure! Placing 5th out of 23!!

Big girl moves today!
Our sweet young pony had her very first solo ride and absolutely nailed it — like she’s been doing this her whole life. Calm, collected, and totally fabulous, even with her baby casually wandering nearby like it was no big deal!
This little star has such a bright future — catch her in the show ring very soon!

Almost 7 years he has been the rock in the family he never fails to make everyone happy with his goofyness. I am so appreciative for the people who connected him to me I will always be in awe that this beautiful horse is mine❤️

Kingston update! I’ve had about 14 rides on him which for me is less than any other horse I’ve gotten with the amount of time I’ve had him but he isn’t fazed with living the spoiled good boy life! We spend most of our rides just trail riding around the farm to get active and starting building some muscle but I couldn’t be more proud of how far he’s come already! He may just be the slowest racehorse I’ve ever met, but what he lacks in speed, he more than makes up for in heart and try. Every ride, he steps up and surprises me in the best way. Can’t wait to take him to his very first horse show next month — big things ahead for this sweet boy!

Rosie has started her show pony career and has been going great! She’s picking up on the basics faster than I expected—things like the saddle pad, the girth around her belly and starting to get the hang of the saddle on to be lunged. It’s been so rewarding to see her grow in confidence each day. We’ve added a bit more complexity to our work, like a bridle, a small walk around the field with me laying on her, and she’s handling it well. She’s just been so easy, and I’m excited to keep progressing!

Quite a few things have been happening here at GME!

First off we bought our own farm and are so happy getting to look out our windows to see the ponies!

We’d like to introduce you to some new faces!

On March 10th Rosie welcome her baby into the world who is affectionately called Duncan! We have been having oodles of fun with him he is doing fabulous! We got the all clear to start her as well so we have started that process and shes been doing amazing ! Better watch out this one will be hard to beat😉

The count down is on for MerMer June can’t come fast enough for us to meet her little bundle of joy as well!

We also added Kingston to the family he is a OTTB and im not even sure how he can call himself that as he’d prefer to stand in middle of the ring and look handsome then do anything fast at all. He is learning the ropes of being my next hunter super star!

Tex has started learned to lunge once a week and doing ground work a few days a week as well so when he is ready to be started he’ll be confident and ready!

GM's Texas Hold 'EM AKA Tex is a Arabian/Percheron cross yearling c**t standing at 13 hands now and string tested to be finish as a large pony 13.3-14 hands. His siblings have finished mediums to larges. He is scheduled to be gelded before he goes to his new home. Tex has an excellent brain and will make someone the perfect show pony. He does all his groundwork! Walks and trots in hand, stalls like a dream, currently lives outside and is an easy keeper, loads on the trailer, stand to be bathed, picks his feet up, stands in the cross ties to be groomed, up to date on Coggins and vaccines. Low fours. Price negotiable. Located in Gordonsville VA. Come meet Tex!
