The Alaska Cat Café began as the dream of a determined teenager with a love for cats and a heart for community. As class president and a lead organizer for her school’s prom and events, she had already proven herself a driven leader. When asked what she wanted to do next, Tahlya followed her lifelong passion: helping animals—especially cats. When she shared her vision of opening a cat café, her fa

ther saw an opportunity—not only to support her dream but also to teach her the value of entrepreneurship and giving back. A year later, in the heart of Wasilla, Alaska, The Alaska Cat Café was born. The café operates as a for-profit business with a powerful mission: 100% of its profits go directly to funding our nonprofit, The Cat Cottage, which rescues, shelters, feeds, and provides medical care to abandoned, stray, and surrendered cats in the Mat-Su Valley. Our cozy café offers:

URGENT REQUEST for immediate foster care for these two kitty's Waffles and Pancakes for two weeks. These two tiny kittens were abandoned and need some extra love and care right now. They are only about 2-3 weeks old and require bottle and syringe feeding every 4 hours.

We’re reaching out to our amazing community to see if anyone experienced with kitten fostering (or willing to learn quickly!) can step in to help. All supplies and guidance will be provided — what they need most is someone with time, patience, and a warm heart.

If you are able to foster, or know someone who might be, please message us here on Facebook as soon as possible. These little ones truly depend on it. 💕🐾
