Happy gotcha day Lucy. One year ago today Lucy came to us and became part of the ranch. Such a sweet girl. She is on the security team. Even at two or three in the morning. She’s lost 16 pounds since coming here. She’s a great gal and we’re glad she’s here. We love you, Lucy.

ABR sends its love and best wishes to our buddy and official ABR Alumni after having surgery for complications from inflammatory bowel disease. Snoopy is the bestest boy and we hope his recovery is fast. His gal pal Pearl wants to come for a play date after he has recovered. You and your mom Deanna Mae are in our thoughts and prayers Snoop Dog.

Coffee with Spot. My buddy! He’s been at the ranch for 7 years. He’s 14 1/2. He and his sister Lily were turned into the Fairbanks North Star Borough Animal Control for escaping too much. They were right. He and Lily are the original escape artist from he🏒🏒. Both lovers, both lap hogs. We lost Lily to cancer in March of last year. Spot goes through a lot himself. He had surgery to  remove large benign tumors in uncomfortable places. He has arthritis in his hip and legs. He gets acupuncture monthly, Adequin shots monthly, cold laser therapy a few times a week, a special diet of hydrolzed kibble, other medication every meal, And earlier this week he had surgery and lost all his teeth but his K9’s. Is it ironic that his doctors name is Dr. Jessica Spotts DVM? She’s pawsome! He’s recovering well. He’s eating his meals and loves the special soft treats sent via donors and our Amazon wishlist. Spot is still here and healthy not just because of the love and attention he gets from us, but also from the generous support and prayers of our supporters. Without them, I don’t wanna think about where we’d be. Spot is the best of the best and we’re so glad that he’s here. We love you Spot.

Coffee with LT. He is a such a loving soul. He fills your lap plus some. He has come such a long way since coming to the ranch. This is his home. This is where he’s comfortable. Where he is loved. He goes to The Better Companion once a month for grooming to help to get his coat under control. When I drop him off, he gets the longest face like where are you going? Are you coming back? But when I pick him up, it’s like I’ve been gone forever. Let’s go home Dave. He makes you feel good. He’s one of the many reasons I do what I do. His reaction when he sees me after a couple hours is my paycheck and I’m rich. So glad you’re here LT. We love you big guy.

Coffee with Spot and Milo. Spot and Bill (not pictured) are doing OK on their recovery from dental surgery. Both slept well last night, go outside to take care of business, and are loving being petted and talked to.

Thank you Jessica Spotts DVM at VCA Far Country Animal Hospital and your staff, for taking good care of my boy Spot. He means the world to me. I know he won’t live forever, but I want the time he has left to be the best. 

Thank you Dr. Jenn Cicali at Borealis Veterinary Clinic and your staff, for taking good care of my big guy Bill or is it Billion. 🤭 He also means the world to me. He deserves the bestest life.

Milo and the rest of the pups are making sure their recovery is good and they’re as comfortable as possible. Thank you everyone for your support financially or spiritually.
