Okay, so the time is now. We’ve kept everyone waiting long enough. The hoarding surrender is here and thriving! We are waiting on the state to come out for Disease testing before they can be available for adoption! We took in 15 pigeons and 1 Duck!!!!! Side note- the aviary they are in is full of branches/ places to hide lol….. I’m standing in the enclosure with them! I’ll do a full cage tour!

Today is national Parrot day! From tiny budgies to majestic macaws, parrots bring endless joy, laughter, and personality into our lives. At our rescue, National Parrot Day is also a reminder that these incredible birds are a lifelong commitment. Many parrots can live for decades and require specialized care, enrichment, proper nutrition, and plenty of social interaction. Sadly, many find themselves in need of rescue through no fault of their own. Every bird that comes through our doors has a story, and we are honored to help them find safety, healing, and loving homes. ❤️ Today, we’d love to see your feathered family members! Share a photo of your parrots in the comments and tell us what makes them special. Whether they’re sweet, sassy, goofy, or downright chaotic, we know every parrot has a personality all their own! 🥰 Thank you to everyone who supports our mission through donations, volunteering, fostering, adopting, and sharing our posts. I have never “advertised” that we work alongside police/animal control. Today we got a super unique call! We are currently working alongside the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on a very unusual case, and if all goes as planned, we will soon be welcoming approximately 16–20 new feathered friends into our care❤️At this time, we are still getting information and preparing for what may be a very large intake from a hoarding case. There were multiple species of animals included in this but of course we are taking in the feathered friends!
-Please keep these birds in your thoughts as we work through this process. We will absolutely post updates as soon as we know more!

Stay tuned… the flock may be getting a whole lot bigger. 👀🕊️🦆🦜

This may not be huge to some, but us? We are absolutely over the moon!! One thousand people choosing to follow our little rescue means more than we can possibly put into words. Thank you for supporting our mission, sharing our posts, cheering on our birds, donating supplies, and helping us give parrots the second chances they deserve. Every single follow helps spread awareness for rescue birds in need. This rescue is built on love, patience, community, and a little bit of controlled chaos.From tiny budgies to giant macaws, every bird who comes through our doors matters. And because of YOU, we can continue helping them heal, grow, and find amazing homes.

At our rescue, we know the meaning of dedication, sacrifice, and compassion. This Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who served our country with courage and selflessness, and we hold their memories close in our hearts. From all of us, feathered and human alike, thank you to those who served, those who sacrificed, and the families who carry their legacy forward. Today we celebrate every kind of motherly love. The moms raising babies, the women opening their homes to rescued animals, the caregivers who stay up through sleepless nights, and the compassionate hearts who choose patience, kindness, and second chances every single day. To all the amazing bird moms, rescue supporters, adopters, volunteers, and compassionate souls who help us continue this mission, thank you. You are the reason these parrots get another chance at life. Today also reminds us of the incredible bonds these birds form and the resilience they carry despite the hardships many have faced. Every wing truly does have a story, and because of this community, those stories can continue with hope. From all of us at here at the rescue, Happy Mother’s Day, to every beautiful soul making the world softer, safer, and kinder.

Lisa texted me the other day and said “I’ve got you something” with her you never know what it’s going to be 😂😂😂😂 she sent me a picture and look at this beauty!!!! This is after I got it home 😍😍 We truly think you from the bottoms of our hearts!!!!! If you are local to us you need to visit her boutique! She has the CUTEST stuff!!!!
