JOB OPPORTUNITY AVAILABILITY:

We are seeking a few new team members to join our team of passionate dog lovers! We are a training facility focusing on puppy development, obedience training and behavior modification. We offer training, boarding & daycare services. We also raise German Shepherd Dogs.

We are looking for individuals with the following qualities:

🐶 Reliable: we work with live animals, reliable staff is my priority when it comes to the high standards of care that we expect for the dogs in our care.

🐕 Time Management: this is a busy job and time management skills are a must.

🐩 Communication: we have standards of communication in place however we expect team members to be able to communicate efficiently with one another as well as with clients.

🦮 Desire to Learn: as a training facility, we do have do’s and don’ts when it comes to taking dogs out for walks, supervising playgroups, etc. You must be willing to work under Courtney’s direction and supervision with the desire to learn about what we do and why!

🐾 Attention to Detail: we clean ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. Safety and cleanliness is #1.

💪🏻 You must also be able to lift 50+ lbs.

OPENING SHIFTS:

Wednesday - Friday 6:30am - 1:00pm
Saturday & Sunday 6:30am - 12:00pm

CLOSING SHIFTS:
Monday - Sunday 2:00pm - 8:00pm

Full Time & Part Time Opportunities Available.
Pay based on experiences with plenty of opportunity to advance within the company!

We’re excited to welcome three adorable new puppies to our K9 Academy Day Training Program! 🎓🐶

These three are getting an early start on one of the greatest gifts we can give our puppies: a strong foundation.

Puppy training isn’t just about teaching sit, down, and stay. Starting young gives puppies the opportunity to learn how to learn while developing the skills they’ll need to become confident, well-mannered adult dogs.

Early training helps puppies build:
🐾 Confidence in new environments and situations
🐾 Focus & engagement with their handler
🐾 Impulse control and appropriate boundaries
🐾 Leash manners and foundational obedience
🐾 Healthy social skills around people and other dogs
🐾 Crate skills & independence
🐾 Better communication with their families
🐾 Good habits before unwanted ones have time to develop

One of the biggest misconceptions about puppy training is that you need to wait until a puppy is older. In reality, puppies are learning from the moment they come home—whether we’re intentionally teaching them or not!

It’s to introduce age-appropriate structure, communication and positive experiences that create a foundation we can continue building on as they mature.

We placed Geisha, formerly Gucci, in her new home with one of our existing training clients about a year ago now and today we will did another follow up training lesson checking in and we’re incredibly proud of how this girl is building a solid relationship with her family. Geisha attends daycare with us twice a week with her housemate Gryphon still and we love seeing this girl and having her around and we’re grateful to her family for trusting us with this placement and for giving her the best life!

Tequila, now Cheyenne, had her first puppy training visit with Courtney yesterday since going home with her new family last week! We discussed teething, basic obedience, potty training & leash training and Chey was very happy to show off how incredibly smart she is!

Tristan officially graduated from his Board & Train E-Collar Program and he and his mom have completed all of their follow-up lessons! Tristan has been doing outstanding with his newfound reliability and freedom with a solid recall and following guidance from his mom ☺️

Peanut & Scooter are so excited to welcome their new sister Oli to our Academy Training Program! Oli now attends our Academy Day School 3 days per week with her siblings, who attend our daycare program, and we will be working on obedience, socialization, leash manners and more!

Oli has already been busy making friends and she is incredibly smart! 📚
