Cache got 2 more passes for the weekend. We took River and Cache to the OVRC AKC test that was just down the road and Cache swept the weekend but unfortunately River went out in the second series of master. We look forward to running more and the young dogs are very close to being ready to get thrown into the games. Cache is out of Royal Valley Kennels and the sky is the limit for the guy!

I still have some gun dog slots to fill up, I had several spots reserved but they're past the time so I have a few spots to fill up! Prices for basic gun dog are $650 month with a minimum of 4 months but it's a 4-6 month program, dog dependent. Advanced is 800$ month 8-12 months to go through whole program. Feel free to reach out with any questions. There is a $50 added fee per month if we supply food. All pups must be up to date on vaccinations and we recommend being on a flea and tick prevention. Snuck out for a quick morning hunt, last one of the year. Cache got the call on his first goose hunt and safe to say that the little red dog from Royal Valley Kennels absolutely crushed it! Dude tackled 2 birds that sailed over 100yrds and brought me back 7 to hand. He's small but mighty and I can't think of a better way to end the season then letting my young gun go swing on em! This is the joy I hope to bring to all my clients! The excitement of a young dogs first experience is awesome.

We've been chasing that 200 retrieve for river for the season and we are now at 201! Not alot for some but for a ohio boy it's amazing! He's now at over 500 before his 3rd birthday! We've been working on the new kennel and we have finally got some poles sit! The plan was to be taking dogs now and I apologize to everyone for not being able to, we will however be able to take them sometime in March and we look forward to working with you! With that said if you have a puppy who youd like to put through our gun dog program but they aren't at the proper age yet where all adult teeth are in etc. I will take probably 2 and they will live in the house with us and our dogs and go through obedience until ready at a discount price until they reach the maturity physically to start the process for basic gun dog.

This is Luke. He will be going to Arkansas as a started dog to live the guide dog life and pick up more ducks then we'll shake a stick at here in Ohio! He's a Royal Valley Kennels puppy and it shows! Life has been very busy lately between chasing ducks, puppies, and the weather. I apologize for not being able to get back to everyone as fast as I'd like to, were very blessed to have so much interest in our little training operation. We're currently in the process of building a new kennel, weather permitting I'm hoping to start taking dogs in late February or early march, it's just so hard to get much done with these freezing temperatures and I can not offer you the dog I feel I owe to my clients until the weather is a little more suitable. We appreciate everything and we look forward to teaching your dogs and meeting everyone. Man can't say enough that team KVR brings the heat and the meat! Coot now owned by Sammy Bixler went on his first field hunt and river and I joined in the fun and those 2 boys put in that over time. Multiple crippled geese tackled and birds brought back to hand saved us the leg work and the shells. I can't stress enough how important a good dog is in conservation but they also had enjoyment in the hunt. I am loving life teaching these dogs and can't wait to teach more. It's truly a obsession!
