Say HELLO to SOPHIA! Sophia joins us as an Occupational Therapy graduate student from the University of Scranton. After graduation, Sophia plans to become an OT and help clients return to the activities they love and enjoy every day. She is passionate about building meaningful connections and empowering others to achieve their personal goals. During her time here at SE, Sophia hopes to expand her knowledge of how equine-assisted therapy can help clients grow both physically and mentally, while also increasing her overall knowledge of horses, horsemanship, and their unique role in the therapeutic process. SAY HELLO TO LIV! Liv is a current rising sophomore at the University of Pittsburgh, and is joining us this summer as part of the Foundations Community Partnership Summer Youth Corps Program. She is in the David C. Frederick Honors College, majoring in psychology, minoring in Economics as well as Law and Criminal Justice and is on a Pre-law track. After earning her undergraduate degree, she intends to go to law school and become a litigation attorney. Outside of school, Liv loves lifting weights (she runs a fitness account on Instagram), thrifting, spending time with friends and family, the color pink, crafting, music, and chicken! She is beyond excited to learn from PATH-certified instructors as well as the LPCs and LCSWs to gain hands-on experience and learn about the fundamentals and uses of Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy. Please give her a warm, SE welcome! 💙🐴

Hot Rods for Horses exceeded every expectation we had. From the incredible vehicles and generous sponsors to the volunteers, participants, and community members who showed up in full force—thank you for making our inaugural event such an overwhelming success. The smiles, conversations, and support for our riders and horses made the day truly unforgettable.

As you enjoy this look back at some of the amazing vehicles that filled our farm, know that every car, every attendee, and every supporter helped make a difference for the individuals we serve.

Thank you for being part of something special. We can't wait to do it all again. 📅 Save the date: June 6, 2027, for the 2nd Annual Hot Rods for Horses!
