Hi friends!

Just a quick reminder. Our Google address (which I’m in the process of having the street address removed) is our home and we do not allow people to just drop in. As you all know we have a 15 month old and his nap time is prime get things done time - when someone pulls in with their dog and our dogs bark - we risk losing that time to clean the house, do laundry, train dogs, you name it. And yes…I want my dogs to bark when someone pulls in.

Pretty please be respectful and don’t just come to our house. Do not ever go to the house where the training center is either please.

If you want to see the training center Im happy to arrange a time or youre welcome to stop in during a class if you let me know. It is not always safe to have a person or dog on the property. Remember some of the dogs that I work with are not friendly!

When you sign up for training I send very detailed instructions with photos and a map attached.

When dogs are fighting in the home we need to reset the relationship. This means not just resetting the relationship between the dogs, but also, and primarily, the relationship between each dog and the owner. Why? Because nine times out of ten when dogs are fighting in the home they are competing for resources, whether that is toys, food, space, or attention from the owner. Nine times out of ten, one or more of the dogs really don't see the owner as being in charge. In order to resolve this problem, each dog needs to respond to the owner's direction and commands without fail. Only then can the dogs be taught to share and coexist peacefully; we must create what is called social attraction between the dogs. Diego and Tate are two such dogs (they have another canine housemate, Lainey, who generally isn't involved in the fights). This is a long process. Success is possible, but it involves a lot of hard work, management, work with each dog individually, then together. Not every owner can make the commitment to correct situations like these, but these dogs have an owner who won't give up.

Private training lessons allow me to work directly with you & your dog, giving you the one-on-one attention and training needed to solve the peskiest issues.

These are a great option for the do-it yourselfer as you will do most of the training with private lessons roughly every other week.

These sessions can also be used for obedience training, behavior issues, trick/agility or whatever you would you like.
We also offer virtual training sessions too!
