Dear GOFI Volunteers, Donors, and Supporters:
Every day, we witness the profound impact of our dogs—veterans finding their footing, individuals reclaiming independence, and communities growing closer. To help this mission truly expand and thrive, we are relocating to a new home that matches our vision while honoring the incredible foundation and original dream established by our founder, Pauline Hoegler.
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Golden Opportunities for Independence has secured our new permanent headquarters in Foxboro, just over the Walpole line. Throughout August, our transition will be underway as we prepare for our official Grand Opening and Community Open House this September.
The space features a welcoming, professional client intake hub for interviews and matching, dedicated administrative offices, and our large community training arena—a hangar bay with 14-foot ceilings and ample space for training. There is also a separate enclosed space that will serve as our climate-controlled puppy nursery, complete with a private kitchen and bath for around-the-clock foundational care. Outdoors, our end-unit location provides a puppy green for vital early sensory exposure.
We have amazing volunteers, a great staff, an inspirational founder, and a smart board. This facility gives us a new and unique platform to carry out our work and the amazing vision started by Pauline at the farm.
