March 8th is International Women's Day. Windhover celebrates every year by taking the day off. The collage attached shows the banner worn by Dr. McMillan in the April 9th, 1989 March for Women's Equality. The headlines are from Dr. McMillan's successful lawsuit for equal pay and gender discrimination by Angell Animal Medical Center.

Windhover will be closed Saturday, March 8th and Monday March, 10th in honor of International Women's Day. If you are experiencing an emergency contact VEG at 617-729-4446. We will be back in the office on Tuesday, March 11th.

We understand that not all pets love to come visit the vets office. Roxy can't get enough! Roxy comes in regularly for PT, with her excited tail wag and sweet smile that pulls us all in! The same way that Roxy pulls her Mom across the parking lot on their morning walks! Many mornings before we start our day, Roxy is standing at our door, looking for love from any one of her friends! Mom says Roxy is unhappy when she has to tell her that we are not here on days off! 😍

Long time friend of Windhover Veterinary Center, Ray McSoley, has written an amazing book and will be speaking at Medfield Public Library on March 13th. Many of our patients have worked with Ray over the years, with great success!
It will be a great event! Ray is a wealth of knowlegdge and a captivating story teller!

Just like you and your pets, Santa's reindeer need to be examined and issued health certificates in order to travel between U.S. states or across national borders. Thankfully, they've never had a problem being certified for flight, due in good measure to the regular examinations and preventive veterinary care.

As the Holidays approach, everyone at Windhover would like to wish you all the happiest Holiday season! Kyle, Hayleigh, and Brianna are bringing their holiday spirit after their visit with Santa!

We will be closed 12/24-12/29.
We will be opened 9am-5pm on 12/30 and 9am-12pm on 12/31.
We will return to our normal hours on 1/2.
