Formed by a small group of citizens, Pet Friends of Duplin County (PFDC) has evolved over the years. Our website lists our current programs to include our Spay/Neuter subsidy program, our free Rabies clinics, our support of the Duplin County Animal Shelter to help financially struggling citizens keep their pets and by providing heartworm tests to help make animals more adoptable or apt to be rescu
ed. We are starting a Pet Food Pantry and hope to develop a registry and education program for rescue transporters.
