Are you enjoying your weekend?? You better be because Lucy has her eye on you!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce y’all to Lucy! She is an Americauna Mix who came to us with her sister (her name is Ethel and you’ll meet her soon!) Lucy has no issue looking you up and down and judging you for that same messy bun you’ve been rocking for the last few days. She is the class clown who is always up to no good and she quite frankly never stops talking…so we get along like two peas in a pod. She’s a foodie at heart and will eat anything out of your hands. Once she is a bit more settled in we can expect creamy pinkish eggs from her and I’m so excited for them!

Everyone meet Lavender 💜
She is the animal that took our idea of a homestead and made it a reality. She is our Lavender Orpington hen who has brought so much joy and attitude to our lives. She’s far more than just another chicken, she is my little partner in crime and will follow me everywhere-sometimes even trying to go for car rides if I don’t close my door quick enough!

I cannot wait to add to our homestead and share each new addition with you all!
For now, give Lavender a double tap and I’ll give her a meal worm treat just from you!

Hey y’all! Welcome to our little corner of the internet where we hope to develop connections with each of you as we grow our homestead into a sustainable business!
Let me introduce our little family!

Morgan- I was born and raised in the area and I’ve worked around animals my whole adult life until I became a stay at home mom 🖤 Now I get to do both! My dream animal to have on the homestead one day would be a highland cow! 🐮

Chris- I was born in Kansas but moved to the area when the military sent me out this way. I met Morgan and the rest is history. My dream animal to add to the homestead would be a Flemish Giant Rabbit 🐇

We have one kiddo, Hayden, who is a big reason we wanted to have a homestead. He is the most amazing human who is on the spectrum but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He loves the outdoors so if he isn’t on his swing, he’s in a rocking chair on the front porch saying his favorite geometric shapes. He doesn’t really have a dream animal that we know of yet but we will keep you posted if that changes! 🌈
