So Many Flowers

Flowers from my garden pressed and turned into forever art

11/03/2026

It’s holiday market season, here’s where to find me!
Also working on getting the ol website updated so that things are available there.
Goodbye sleep, recreation, and sanity for the next six weeks (just kidding, we’re keeping it balanced this year, right small business friends?!)

A little forest of trees is growing! These have been too much fun to make, each tree has three different types of glass so the colors and textures all combine in unique ways.
Bringing some of these to my first holiday market next weekend in Denver with 𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀!
Okay, back to tinkering!

I was lucky to have my mom Sheila in town to help me at my market on Sunday! She’s more of a people person than I am and always does a great job selling my work (plus she’s not afraid of a little manual labor!).
Since she lives in Wisconsin and doesn’t get to see my full spread of work too often, I make her pick out her favorite things to share with everyone!

It’s gonna be a wild fall but I can’t wait to get on the road again, make lots of art, see my vendor friends, and meet new (and returning!) customers.
Six weeks of markets in a row is a little more than I usually take on, but after a leisurely August it’s time to pick up the pace! Some of these events I’ve had my eye on for a few years so I’m really excited to give them a try. See you out there!

New little works on paper, some featuring flowers pressed during summer travels. I photographed these today and just ordered some test ceramic coasters, stay tuned for how those turn out!
I’m really liking working on paper right now, the contrast of the flowers feels more striking and really brings out the colors in the flowers compared to my usual glass compositions.

Just checking in from Wisconsin to let you know what’s going on this month! The answer is mostly a whole lot of nothing because I’m taking a break for most of it!
I always spend a few weeks in August hanging at my mom’s house in Wisconsin and then later in the month my boyfriend and I are heading for a vacation in Ireland followed by a few days in DC.
In between all of this I am planning for fall, thinking about new products, and maybe planning a few new workshops. Let me know if there’s anything you want to see!
Also a reminder that there are some cute pressed flower pieces available on my website at discounted prices that will ship between or after my travels!

Some pressed flower pieces coming to Markets For Makers in Brooklyn this weekend! Doing a market in NY was on my goals list for this year, and I’m so excited that I could make it happen!
Like something you see? I’ll be adding unsold pieces to my website next week so stay tuned!

Spend a day with me as a flower goblin who doesn’t leave her house enough!

Can’t find much energy for social media recently so let’s do a June photo dump. This month kept me on my toes with trips every weekend, pressing flowers nonstop as the spring garden hit its peak, 2 classes, and 2 markets.
Not complaining though, summer makes me feel most alive!!! Can’t wait to see what July has to bring!

Let’s hang this summer?!
Excited to get back out on the road in June and July and try out (mostly) new events! I truly love summer market season, everyone’s in a good mood, wearing cute dresses, and we’re all equally sweaty.
Probably going to be taking August off from markets, but you never know…
