Every Cat's Dream Our mission is to take the sick, injured and abandoned off the streets. Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome into wonderful homes. We decided to switch gears!

While we will still help with dog placements, our main goal is to help the never ending stray cat population. Our goal is to r

educe the number of stray cats in our area by providing spay and neuter clinics. Some stray cats will need to be released back to their colonies, but if we get our hands on any that are adoptable, we will bring them into our adoption program. So many of stray cats are adoptable! We plan to work hard in placing any cats or kittens into foster homes until they are ready for adoption. 85% of the cats we have in our care are stray cats brought into us from Broome County. Lucky is a neutered male cat who went missing on 6/18. He is microchipped and wearing a blue flea collar. He has a snaggletooth and fluffy tail.

Too many innocent cats and kittens are suffering because people are not getting them spayed or neutered. Our rescue does fundraiser after fundraiser raising money to pay the cost for altering them but it is getting harder to come up with the money for the clinics

Today we did 10 cats at Kindred Spirits for $500. People need to utilize these programs. if your feeding them please alter them. Even 1 cat at a time will help reduce the stray cat population.

Meet Casket! Our resident wacko. Casket was found by the Vestal Dog Control super sick in a cemetery (hence the name). After MONTHS of treatments and medications and surgeries at The Cat Doctor he is now feeling better and hanging out in our big cat room. Casket is a weird soul. He doesn’t understand personal space and he has no boundaries. But if that’s your cup of tea, this kid will bring the biscuits! Casket snores, he nibbles and he seems to live the life of the energizer bunny, but he is truly an amazing cat, and would make a great best friend for someone in need.

7 more from the trailer park safely tucked away for the night! 3 others from different locations are being held overnight until they all meet in the morning to be transported to Kindred Spirits for spay and neuter

Thanks to the volunteers Kathy and Lisa for spending your Friday night setting traps, watching traps and transporting traps to and from the clinic!

Forest and Frasier, aka The Camp Kitties, just chillin! They sure do love to “help” together since they don’t do much without the other! What great cats they are!

These two boys are a bonded pair. They are very calm and love all the attention you can give them. They are great with the other cats that they share their space with.

Perry is enjoying this nice summer day but he's wondering why he hasn't found his furever home yet? Perry would be a wonderful companion as he enjoys the company of hoomans and other cats as well. Dogs and young children are an unknown. He is altered, tested negative and is up to date on his shots.

We are almost done with this colony

A few days ago I put food and water out for some at one of the trailers. Lucky me one seemed very sweet so I coaxed her into a carrier. She is in the early stages of pregnancy so she will be going to Kindred Spirits clinic on Saturday for spay. As I went to the main feeding area a few were sitting there but once I opened the canned food they came running out of the bushes and out from under the trailers.

My heart breaks for them. 💔💔💔 Some of them are so sweet and could be adopted out but we are so full. We recently took a litter of kittens (5) around 4 weeks old, and all died but one…. Fleas, round worms and tapeworms; we were doing fluids, forcefeeding and worming, only to watch them pass one after another.

The other 13 kittens that we took in that were older are doing good🙂

Our goal is to send 15 on Saturday. We have sent 15 already and of that 10 were females!! What a win for us!

Please spay and neuter. Rescues are burning out.

Our Story

We are a New York State Rescue! Our Rescue Registration No. is RR169. We are a full service rescue! We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, reptiles, etc. no snakes or spiders though, sorry... We help every animal find their new home! Our adoption center is located inside of the Petco Store in Johnson City. All animals will be viewed there. Our sanctuary is located in Greene, we do not view animals at that location. We house the old, and animals being treated for sickness at the Greene location.
