Uxbridge Dog Park

Uxbridge Dog Park Highly socialized dogs that are exercised are healthier, happier, and less aggressive.

The Uxbridge Dog Park provides a safe, clean and secure environment where owners may exercise and train their dogs off leash, thus providing effective socialization opportunities for people and their dogs as well as enhancing positive interaction. This results in a higher number of dogs with good public conduct

Dogs incentivize owners to get outside and maintain active lifestyles

As a people par

k and dog park, neighborly connections will be made. Where there are friendships made and concerns for those relationships there is greater safety

People find it easier to talk to each other with dogs as the initial focus

A dog park is an attractive amenity for perspective residents of the Town of Uxbridge

Many THANKS to all the volunteers who showed up last Saturday to rake sand, and dirt and fill holes etc. It was an impressive turnout and the UDP Committee greatly appreciated the help and enthusiasm!

Members of the Dog Park Committee went up to the park today for a walk-thru.
It is still very damp with water collecting in some areas. Also, there has been some wash-out in the sand boxes.

We are looking for VOLUNTEERS on SATURDAY, March 28th from 9am - 11:30 to help with the following:

Using a rake (similar to what is shown below) to rake out the larger rocks, and fluff up the soil in preparation for putting down new seed.

Spreading the new seed around the areas

Installing posts and snow fencing around the area to allow for the seed to take root.

Volunteers to help shovel and/or landscape rake the sandboxes. Much of the sand has moved towards the edges, and we want to move it back towards the center.

This will give the committee and hopefully VOLUNTEERS time to get the park prepared for the 2026 season.

The anticipated OPENING DATE has not changed. It is April 5th, 2026.
