Golden Island Thoroughbred Rescue Inc. Our mission will be to give retired racehorses, the rehabilitation, care and training they need to be skilled performance horses in the hunter/jumper circuit.

Horses may also be well suited for dressage, trail riding, pleasure riding and hunter/eq flat.

Congrats War Cross on a successful first show season! This athletic, young guy moved into the 3’ with ease and earned great placing for 2 weeks in HITS Vermont 🏆
War Cross also qualified for the take2 Hunter finals at the Kentucky National this September! We are excited to see him keep moving forward in his new career! 🏆🏆🐎🐎

Batman is such a superstar show pony! He is possibly up for adoption to the absolute best home! is trying to keep horses in training that need the help and time and he is certainly ready for a person of his own! Awesome show pony, incredibly well behaved with tons of talent!

War cross’s second show in the books! He is doing a great job learning about the 3ft ring! He working on consistency during multiple rounds! He has the best sport horse attitude and is picking up new skill it
