In celebration of International Cat Day, we’re waiving adoption fees for select cats today, Friday, August 8th — thanks to generous support from a grant by the ASPCA! 🙌

✨ Eligible cats can be seen on our website or in this post.
Cats who’ve been with us 90+ days OR cats who are over 1 year old.

📝 How to qualify:
Submit an adoption application online at ffoashelter.org/adopt between Wed, Aug 6 – Fri, Aug 8

Be sure to list the cat’s name and include a note:
“Interested in fee-waived adoption event”

Be ready for same-day approval
📌 Requirements:
✔ Renters: Send landlord permission or lease showing pets are allowed to [email protected] or bring to the shelter on Aug 8th
✔ Past pet owners (last 5 years): Email vet records (incl. spay/neuter & vaccines) to [email protected] or bring to the shelter on Aug 8th

✔ Adoptions are first come, first approved
✅ We will be open from 12pm-5pm

Thunder, her calm and affectionate companion, had panleukopenia as a kitten, which left him with a slightly weaker immune system—but you’d never know it by the way he lounges, plays, and soaks up love. He’s a fighter, and he thrives under Violet’s watchful eye.
