Sasha has claimed her new title of Outstanding Camper!

This girl likes to wear the pants around Doggie Day Camp, the sassy pants!! 😝 Sasha may have a big (and loud) personality, but she always does what is expected of her! She enjoys playing with staff and her favorite campers, Teddy and Ziggy! 🐾

What are the causes for your pets to be itchy? Some causes may be:

🌳 Environment allergies - Pollen, Dust, Dander, and Grass
🥩 Food Allergies - Soy, Beef, Lamb, Chicken, Eggs, Dairy,Wheat
😲 Skin parasites, Fleas, Ticks, and Mites

Laney is joining us for our Board & Train program Class of 2026! 🎓

This happy pittie is so excited to meet new friends and lean more into her obedience training! The Lucky Dog K9 Academy team is excited to help Laney work through a few problem areas. Laney tends to get excited around people and shows this by jumping! She also struggles with some excessive barking. We can't wait to watch Laney grow and learn with us! Stay tuned for her update! 🐾

🌤 Why Do Dogs Enjoy Sunbathing? 🌤

Let’s look at a few reasons why your canine companion may enjoy the summer’s sunshine:

🌻 Dogs experience a sense of relaxation and contentment

🌻 Sunshine helps ease muscle tension

🌻 When dogs expose their skin to sunlight, their bodies produce Vitamin D - which helps maintain healthy bones and a healthy immune system

🌻 Exposure to natural light triggers the release of serotonin, this can help improve your dog’s mood, and overall mental state!

Early mornings or late afternoons for sunbathing sessions are ideal if your pup loves their outdoor time!

We recommend checking on your dogs (or baked potatoes as we call them🥔) to make sure that they don’t overheat! Dogs with light colored or thin fur may be more prone to sunburn as well, so check noses, ears, and other exposed areas at risk.
