Congratulations to Steph Froelich on her (our) girl's win under Eugene Blake at the Hendersonville Kennel Club Show in Fletcher, NC. Coming off her 9-12 class win at the ACKCSC National Speciality - this pretty puppy just took a FIVE point major today from the 9 to 12 class under the expert handling of Lexi Schlott. 🎊

A new chapter begins. 🐾

You know me for my Cavaliers, but today I'm introducing something rare and extraordinary. Our very first Nenets Herding Laika litter arrived! These boys and girls are 1 month old, healthy, and absolutely perfect. 🐺

As Irenka's first litter, these pups deserved a special naming theme. Meet our little first-round draft picks! 🏈

Mom is Irenka (Unmay No Akay ITO Irenka) and Dad Ford (Unmay No Akay ITO Ford) couldn't have done a more beautiful job. Both parents come from the renowned Nenets breeder Svetlana Kovaleva. I specifically selected Irenka from her beautiful puppies 2 years ago and was lucky have the opportunity to import her with the guidance from my friends jeanne Hershberger and Ma Young.

The Nenets Herding Laika is one of the rarest breeds on earth — an ancient spitz developed by the Nenets people of Siberia to herd reindeer, fiercely loyal and deeply devoted. They are almost unknown outside Russia, and I am so honored to be among the few working with this breed in the US.
