It’s official! Groot, new name Otis, is now a member of the Ave family! Here’s what they have to say about this special boy:
“He’s precious! Like absolutely a dream! ♥️ So grateful we found him. Thank you for doing such a wonderful job prepping him!”
This great family took a chance on Groot and we couldn’t be happier. We hope that he and his Frenchie sister Winnie become best buds, and that Otis has a long, healthy life and brings joy to his family for many years to come. Thank you for trusting RickJenn Frenchies!

Shemp is such a good cuddle buddy! He ate faster than his brothers so I held him while they finished up. He’s a cutie patootie! 🤗

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us to all of you! We are thankful for so many things today and always, but we want to say a special thank you to all of our faithful friends, families and followers. We appreciate your love and support of our program more than you will ever know. 🥰
We hope you all have a blessed day with family and/or friends, whatever that looks like. Even if you are alone or without loved ones for the first time this holiday season, don’t forget that you have a loving Father in heaven that promises to never leave us. He is always near. May you feel His peace and know His blessings today.

Good morning! Our woodstove is a cherished part of our home and its warmth is enjoyed by all, especially the Frenchies.
We are thankful this morning because we installed a windproof chimney cap this week and it is working perfectly on this blustery day! No downdrafts and no smoke in the house. I’m giddy!
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.”

It’s official, so we can say happy gotcha day to Turbo! He is doing so well in his new home in Tennessee.
Here’s the good news his new family shared with us:
“He fell asleep watching TV with me. He got along well with my other dogs. No problems eating. He had a few potty issues to start, but Turbo is doing great now. We got his pen rearranged and that’s all it took. He’s starting to bark when he wants to go outside and potty.”
We couldn’t be happier for Turbo and his new people! We love happy beginnings. God is good!
Now we’re just wondering…who else wants this kind of experience of your very own? Turbo (fka Moe) has two brothers who are waiting to be the best thing to happen to their new people! Larry and Shemp would also make wonderful companions.
Good morning! Our French Bulldog puppies are now a party of three.
Groot left on his new adventure yesterday. We will share gotcha day photos soon! He has a new Frenchie sister named Winnie. 🥰
Our Frenchie puppies went to the vet yesterday for a second check up where we confirmed that Drax also has a heart murmur. It was not detected at his first check up and Dr. Bader said it was a Grade 1. As you can tell he is not affected at all. Both Shemp and Larry are 100% healthy.
As I mentioned on a video earlier this week, these puppies have entered the raptor stage! They are feisty and mischievous but still love to be held and cuddled. They are so smart too! Someone come and snag these babies! 😆

Adopting a Retired Breeder Isn’t a Rescue!!!
Retired breeding dogs from responsible breeders aren’t being “saved.” These dogs have been deeply loved and cared for their entire lives. They were chosen with purpose, raised with attention, and treated like family, not just breeding animals. Ethical breeders invest their hearts into these dogs: they know their personalities, their quirks, their favorite toys, and what comforts them. Many sleep in the breeder’s bed, get constant attention, and are doted on from day one.
When a dog retires, it isn’t because they weren’t wanted. It’s because they’ve completed their role in the program, and the breeder wants them to enjoy the next chapter, one where they can soak up all the attention in a home of their own. Their move isn’t a rescue; it’s a loving transition into a new life where they get to be the center of someone’s world.
Rescue dogs, on the other hand, often come from shelters, the streets, or difficult situations. They truly need saving and a second chance. Both breeders and rescues do wonderful, important work, but the situations are very different.
A retired breeder isn’t being saved, they’re being celebrated. They’re moving from a home where they were cherished to another home that will spoil them just as much. It’s not a rescue story; it’s a love story with a new chapter.❤️

One of these puppies is being extra naughty this morning! Which one is it?

If you are like we were, you may have already spent some time looking for the right fur baby from a great breeder. If you have decided that the French Bulldog is your perfect breed, then you need to look no further! You have come to the right place.
We have decided to breed Frenchies because we truly love them. They have so many great qualities and make great companions for anyone from an individual person in a small apartment to a big family with kids and other animals. They are fun-loving, comical, intelligent creatures that will bring you joy each and every day. All I have to do is look into my French Bulldog’s face and a smile appears on mine. When you’ve got a Frenchie, you’ve got no worries!
We also know how important it is to have a quality French Bulldog from an ethical breeder who is doing everything possible to make sure you have a healthy, happy puppy for life! Frenchies can have various health issues like most other purebreds, but here’s what we are doing to eliminate genetic health problems:
We choose our pairings very carefully. We are genetically testing our breeding dogs and do not do “line breeding” or “inbreeding”.
We provide the best care for our breeding dogs and for their puppies. All dogs receive all recommended vaccinations and healthcare by us or our veterinarian.
We offer a Health Guarantee that we would be happy with!
In addition, we are implementing training with all our puppies from birth! Our puppies are raised in our home with our family - human and canine alike. Socialization is key to a well adjusted puppy that will fit into your family seamlessly. The puppies are exposed to different textures, environments, and sounds so that their transition to your home is not so scary. Also, we have each puppy off to a great start with crate and potty training to make your job easier.
Each puppy has his/her own personality and disposition, so we observe each puppy to determine if he/she will be a good fit for you and your family. Let us know what you are looking for and we will do our best to provide you with your perfect match!
The first several months of your puppy’s life are especially important in the development of the dog he/she will become. I am a certified Obedience Dog Trainer as well as a breeder so I am available for the life of your new Frenchie so that if you have any questions or concerns, all you have to do is call me! If you are a local buyer, I offer FREE obedience school for you and your new pup. We recommend that all dogs complete obedience training whether with me or a trainer of your choice.
Last but not least, we are a Christian husband and wife team who have your best interest at heart and strive to please God in all that we do, including dog breeding. In the NLT Bible Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit your actions to the LORD, and your plans will succeed.” We hope that you have discovered how wonderful it is to live a life for Jesus Christ. God bless you!
