🇺🇸 ADOPTION ANNOUNCEMENT: Liberty & Glory Have Found Their Forever Home!

Just in time for Independence Day, two tiny sparks of hope came into our lives — Liberty & Glory. Found by kind-hearted students at HOPE Academy, these sweet souls were given a second chance at life when they reached out to us. We knew right away that their story was one of resilience, freedom, and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.

Named in honor of the Fourth of July, Liberty & Glory have now embarked on their next great adventure — together, forever — with the amazing McKinley family! ❤️🤍💙

We’re overjoyed that these two will grow up side by side, surrounded by love, joy, and the freedom to be exactly who they are. Their journey is a true reminder that when compassion leads the way, hope always wins.

Wishing Liberty & Glory a lifetime of cuddles, playtime, and fireworks (the good kind) of happiness with the McKinleys! 🎆

It's Wishlist Wednesday! 🐾

Every week, we're humbled by the support our community shows — and today, we’re sharing a few items we’re especially in need of to help our furry friends thrive. 💛

🦴 Small dog collars – Our puppies are growing fast and need comfy, secure collars for their adventures!
🔍 Microchip scanner – A vital tool to help lost pets find their way back home.
🥣 Puppy & dog food – Bellies are rumbling, and mealtime is a big deal at the shelter!
🐱 Kitten food – Our tiniest residents need extra nutrition to grow up healthy and strong.
🧼 P*e pads – Always in demand for our pups-in-training.

🎉 ADOPTED: Louise! 🐾

Sweet Louise has found her forever home — and what a perfect match it is! 💕 Donnie knew from the moment he saw her that she was the one, and he didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile (literally!) to come meet her. The connection was instant, and seeing them together was pure joy. They were all smiles as they headed off to start their new adventure. 🐶❤️👨

Louise was the first of Peppa’s puppies to head out into the world, so we made sure she had time to say goodbye to each of her siblings and, of course, her mama. There were plenty of tail wags and kisses before she hit the road with her new dad. 🐕🚗

We just know these two are going to have an amazing life together, and we can't wait to hear about all of their adventures. Happy tails, Louise — your journey is just beginning! ✨🐾

🎉 Adoption Update: Ramona Has Found Her Family!

From the moment she was born in our shelter, Ramona had a spark — bold, confident, and full of love. She quickly became a favorite around here, not just because of her striking personality, but because she truly made the cattery her home.

Ramona wasn’t just a resident — she was the welcoming committee. New visitor? She was the first to greet them. Volunteer? She’d show them around like she ran the place (because, honestly, she kind of did). There wasn’t a stranger in Ramona’s world — just friends she hadn’t met yet.

Her fearless spirit and love for people made her unforgettable. And now, this special girl has started her next chapter — with a forever home and a loving new mom and dad. 😻💕

We couldn’t be happier for Ramona and her new family. She’s got a great life ahead, and we know she’ll keep being the bold, curious, and loving cat we all fell in love with.

Happy tails, sweet girl. You’ll always have a place in our hearts. ❤️

🎯 Thank You, Target Volunteers!

The other day, we had the pleasure of welcoming an amazing group of volunteers from Target to our facility! ❤️

They started with a tour and orientation to learn more about what we do — then rolled up their sleeves to spend time cuddling with our cats and walking our dogs. 🐶🐱 The animals loved the extra attention (and so did we)!

We’re so grateful for the time, energy, and kindness they shared with us. It’s always heartwarming to see community partners step in to support animal rescue.

🌊 Ocean & Lucia Have Found Their Forever Home!

What started as a plan to adopt one lucky pup turned into a perfect surprise — Barbi walked in to meet her new best friend and walked out with two! 💙💜

Ocean & Lucia, siblings, from a litter of 9, with hearts full of love and energy, are heading off to a beautiful life together — just the way it was meant to be. With tons of space to run, play, and grow, these two will never be far from adventure... or each other.

We just know they’ll be the most loyal, loving companions to Barbi — always at her side, always watching out for each other. 👀👀

Cheers to forever friendship and double the love! Thank you, Barbi, for given these little ones a loving home!💫

Today, we were greeted by a sudden surge of generosity in the form of several surprise boxes from our Amazon Wishlist… and wow, you all delivered — literally and figuratively! 💝

Inside, we found dog food, Nylabones, pet beds, collars, leashes, p*e pads, and cooling pads — all essential items that help us care for our animals every single day. Though some of these gifts arrived without names attached, please know that your kindness does not go unnoticed.

We are always amazed and humbled by everyone's continued support. Whether you give through Amazon, Chewy, monetary donations, or simply spread the word, you are making a real difference for the pets in our care. ❤️

⭐️ Pet of the Week: Cheyenne 🐾

Meet Cheyenne, our beautiful 8.5-year-old hound with a big heart and a nose for adventure! Cheyenne came to us back in 2017 when her previous owner surrendered her due to not having enough yard space. Since then, she’s been waiting for her forever home—and she’s more than ready!

As a true hound, Cheyenne loves to hunt, so a home without small animals is a must. She enjoys long walks, chew toys, and especially treats and scratches—she’ll happily lean into you for more! She’s house-trained, protective, and happiest when she’s right by your side.

Cheyenne might do well with another dog, but she’ll need a meet & greet to make sure it's a good match. Because of her protective nature, we’re looking for a home with no children under 10.

If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who thrives on adventure and companionship, Cheyenne could be your perfect match. Come meet this wonderful girl and give her the second chance she’s been waiting for. 🧡
