Our mission is to promote humane treatment, prevent cruelty, provide education, & end over-population Donations are always happily welcomed!

The Tupelo Lee Humane Society was founded in 1979 in an effort to provide lifesaving adoption services for animals in the city shelter. Over 40 years later, TLHS is still providing adoption options to our community and
has expanded our lifesaving programs in an effort to make a larger impact on animal welfare in Lee County. The Tupelo Lee Humane Society’s mission is to promote humane treatment, prevent cruelty, provide education, and to end pet overpopulation. TLHS has several options for our community to get involved with our organization. Please contact us for more information on how you can help save lives through volunteering, donating, advocating, fostering, and more! Don’t feel like getting out to shop? Feel free to shop online & donate through our Amazon or Chewy Wish Lists.

🎃🐾 ADOPT A TREAT… NOT A TRICK! 👻🧡

This Halloween, the sweetest treat might just be waiting for you at Tupelo-Lee Humane Society! 🐶🐱

Our kennels are filled with dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens hoping someone will walk through our doors and choose them. 🧡 Whether you’re looking for a couch companion, adventure buddy, purring best friend, or a little bundle of chaos and love, your perfect match could be here waiting! 🐾

🦇 No tricks—just wagging tails, happy purrs, wet noses, and lots of love! 🎃

Somebody needs this dog!!
Everyone meet Terra.. .
She is around 10 months old, almost 4 of those months she has been stuck in a kennel.. Happiness, love and affection pour from this beautiful girl anytime she gets the chance to interact with new people and her kennel techs.
Eager to learn and happy to please.. She is perfect.. Yes she is technically still a puppy but a puppy you can train and form into everything you need or want out of a dog..
