☀️ Hot days need smart play! 🐾
Summer fun is better when our pups stay safe. Dogs can overheat quickly, especially during walks, training, playtime, or time outside in the sun.
Watch for these signs of overheating: excessive panting, heavy drooling, red gums or tongue, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, stumbling, or collapse.
If you notice any of these signs, bring your dog inside right away, place them on tile or a cool floor, and offer room temperature water, not cold water. If symptoms are severe or don’t improve quickly, contact your vet or emergency clinic.
