Excessive sleeping can be a sign of pain, arthritis, or cognitive decline.

💡 How to tell if their extra sleep is normal or a red flag:
🔹 Are they slow to get up? → Possible arthritis or joint pain
🔹 Do they seem confused when they wake up? → May be cognitive decline
🔹 Do they lack interest in play or walks? → Could be discomfort or illness

A senior dog should still have moments of engagement, curiosity, and activity. If they’re sleeping too much, let’s find out why! 🐾💙

It’s been such a joy and a truly fulfilling experience to be part of Rollin' with Roscoe’s journey. If you’re not already following this incredible pup’s story, you’re missing out! Against all odds, Roscoe is living his absolute best life. We’re so grateful for amazing humans like Mindy and Dan who make stories like his possible.

We would be lost without this doctor right here. She is phenomenal. If your doggo needs pt, has aging issues, amputation recovery, muscle aches, surgery recovery, etc, I strongly strongly recommend.

Happy Healthy Food Friday!
Eggs are referred to as nature's multivitamin. Eggs contain several vitamins and minerals including 10 essential amino acids needed for muscle growth/maintenance. They can be fed raw or cooked, soft boiled has been found to be most beneficial in preserving nutrients and bioavailability.
It is recommended get farm fresh or organic pastured, free-range eggs. An egg a few times per week for small to medium dogs and several times per week for large dogs.
