🎃🐾 HALLOWEEN SAFETY FOR OUR FURRY FRIENDS! 🐾👻

Halloween is full of fun, costumes, candy and spooky decorations, but it can also come with a few hidden dangers for our four-legged family members!

As you celebrate tonight, keep your pets safe with a few simple reminders:

🍬 Keep candy and chocolate out of reach!
🎃 Make sure costumes are comfortable and don’t restrict movement or breathing.
🚪 Keep pets safely indoors during trick-or-treating to prevent accidental escapes.
🆔 Make sure collars, ID tags and microchips are up to date.
🔔 Be mindful of doorbells, loud noises and spooky decorations that may frighten your pets.
🕯️ Keep candles, electrical cords and small decorations away from curious paws.
🐾 Stick to pet-safe treats and always check for outdoor hazards during walks.

Our pets depend on us to keep them safe, even during the spookiest time of year! ❤️

🐾❤️ ADOPTION SPOTLIGHT: HENRY IS READY FOR HIS HAPPILY-EVER-AFTER! ❤️🐾

Meet Henry! 🐶💙 This sweet, lovable little guy has a big heart, an adventurous spirit, and quite the story to tell!

Henry first came into rescue a couple of months ago and was placed in a foster home while he waited for his forever family. But apparently, Henry decided he needed a little solo adventure first! 😂 He got loose and spent FIVE WHOLE WEEKS on an unexpected neighborhood expedition!

We’re still waiting on his travel memoir, “Around the Neighborhood in 35 Days: The Unauthorized Adventures of Henry the Pug.” 📖🐾

Thankfully, someone took him in and made sure he received care, and after five long weeks of hoping and worrying, Henry made his way back to rescue SAFE AND SOUND! ❤️ We couldn’t be happier to have this little adventurer back where he belongs.

Now, Henry is officially retiring from his wandering ways and is ready to find a family who will give him the love, comfort, and security he deserves! 🏡💕

🐾 Meet Benni!! 🐾💗

🌻 Meet this sweet 2-year-old Frenchie mix who is READY for her happily-ever-after! 🌻

This girl has healed beautifully from her spay surgery and cherry eye repair, and now she’s ready to find her forever family! 🏡❤️

She’s a people-loving, furry-friend-loving girl who is all about being part of the action. Whether she’s snuggling up with her humans, playing and wrestling with her dog pals, or heading out for a walk, she’s happiest just being included!

💕 A little more about this lovely lady:

🐶 Dog-friendly: Loves other dogs and enjoys a good play session and wrestle!

🐱 Cat-friendly: Yes, she’s good with cats!

❤️ People-loving: A total fan of her humans and being part of the family.

🦮 Walking buddy: Loves her walks and does well on a leash.

🌙 Crate champion: Sleeps wonderfully in her crate and is happy to let you sleep in. Who doesn’t love a girl who appreciates a lazy morning?!

🌳 Potty progress: Doing well with going outside to potty and continuing to build good habits.

🥕 Easy eater: Enjoys her regular kibble and veggie snacks.

At 39 pounds, she’s a whole lot of personality wrapped up in one adorable, lovable package! 🥰 She has so much love to give and would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a playful companion who also knows how to settle in for a cozy night.

🐾💙 MEET MANOLO! 💙🐾
✨ 7 years young | Special Needs Sweetheart ✨

Some pugs need a little extra patience, a little extra understanding, and a whole lot of love… and Manolo is worth every bit of it! 🥹❤️

This handsome little gentleman has been through a few chapters in life, and now he’s ready to find his forever family! 🏡💙

Manolo has some impaired vision, but that doesn’t stop him from exploring the world at his own pace! He’s learning to navigate his surroundings with confidence and would do best with someone patient who will give him the time and encouragement he needs to feel safe and comfortable. 🐾

He also has some mild weakness in his back legs, which gives him the cutest little “I just got done riding a horse” walk! 🤠🐴 And honestly? It just adds to his charm!

Manolo is a laid-back little guy who appreciates the simple things in life: a comfy place to relax, a little extra love, and humans who understand that being a little different doesn’t make you any less deserving of an amazing life. 🥰

This boy might have a few extra quirks, but he has SO much love and sweetness to offer! He’s looking for a special someone who will see past his limitations and see the precious little soul he is. ❤️

Yoda is a 3–4-year-old Frenchie with a BIG personality and an even bigger heart! Weighing in at 44 pounds of pure muscle, he’s definitely not your average-sized Frenchie! 💪🏼

This sweet boy absolutely loves his people and wants nothing more than to be loved right back. His favorite thing? Following you wherever you go! Bathroom trip? He’s coming! Moving from the couch to the kitchen? He’ll be right behind you! 😂❤️ He just wants to be near his person and know he’s loved.

💔🐾 WE NEED YOU. OUR PUGS NEED YOU. 🐾💔

Rescue work isn’t always cute little faces, happy adoption stories, and happily-ever-afters. Sometimes, it’s heartbreaking decisions, overwhelming vet bills, sleepless nights, and having to say no to a dog who desperately needs help because we simply don’t have the funds to say yes. 💔

At AZ Pug Life Rescue, every single dog we take in depends on us to give them a second chance. Some come to us neglected, some have medical needs, some have lost the only family they’ve ever known, and others just need someone to finally show them what it feels like to be safe and loved.

And we want to help them ALL. We wish we could open our doors to every pug who needs us. We wish money wasn’t the reason we have to turn dogs away. We wish vet bills didn’t determine how many lives we could save.

But the heartbreaking reality is that rescue costs money. Vet visits, surgeries, medications, diagnostics, food, and everyday care add up quickly. Our veterinary bills have been overwhelming, and we cannot keep doing this without the support of our community.
