Tides change.

I’m excited to share some news with you on the 15th anniversary of purchasing my property on upper Church Hill Road here in Trumbull. No – I’m not retiring. That rumor circulates every few years when you’ve had mostly white hair for as long as I have. (BTW – I’m “reverse aging” – getting dark hair in the same pattern that I started getting white hairs in my late teens and early 20’s – I anticipate being a brunette again by the time I’m 100.)

I will, however, be leaving Home Veterinary Services at the end of the summer to pursue a new adventure. You and your pets will be in the extremely capable hands of Drs Bowler and Sheehy and the fabulous, best-ever, unmatched, love-them-forever support staff that you also know and have grown to love over the years.

With many delays through the pandemic, I have completed over 300 hours of TCVM (Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine) courses in acupuncture and Tui-Na. Now enrolled in the herbal medicine course and considering the PhD tract, I will be starting a new practice in Stratford with a view to complementing the traditional western medicine approach available at Home Veterinary Services, with the valuable and ancient, but still evolving, methods of TCVM.

There will be many pet generations and more than 50,000 tide changes between now and when I’m a brunette again. I wish you and your 4-leggeds well and I’m sure I’ll see you around.
