October was more than 5 degrees above normal for Detroit and more than 4 degrees above normal for Flint and Saginaw. We start off November with more of the same.

Another warm fall day in store for us today. There is a sligjt chance of showers and storms as a cold front pushes through later today. Tomorrow will be cooler, but still above normal.

There is a big difference in temperatures along each side of the cold front.
In the southern part of the state if feels really nice with temps in the 70s, while the thumb is about 20 degrees cooler.

I'm sure if you follow multiple weather pages you have seen something about how the Polar Vortex is "unprecedentedly weak" and how a "piece is breaking off" and will bring cold temperatures south. Let me just say there is nothing in the models really pointing to cold weather in our area anytime soon.
These pages are just posting for clicks and shares.
While it is true how weak the polar vortex is we don't know if it is actually going to break off and bring colder weather into our area yet.

Everything looks warm for the next few weeks. While we may have highs at times in the 50s, but we will be into November by next week and that our highs should average in the mid 50s so it isn't unusual.

Just remember that when you follow and page and are sharing things posted on a page.

A quick look at temperatures for Halloween. It looks very warm for this time of the year. Right now it doesn't look like we will be dealing with any wet weather. It looks to be a great day. We are a week out so things could change, but hopefully they stay this way.
