Bo and I will be at the nail trim event this coming Saturday at Heritage Park in Smithville from 9-12! Stop by, meet him and give him lots of love. It’s crazy to believe this silly boy has been with us for over a year! We rescued him from a vacant residence on 06/24/24, where he was sadly abandoned in a backyard in the summer heat without adequate food and water. He’s waited patiently as he watched Bella and Penelope find their fur-ever homes. Can you help us find his human companions? Learn more about Bo below:

He’s current on all vaccines until 07/02/25, and monthly NexGard PLUS for fleas, ticks and worms.

It’s hosted by Murphy’s Mobile Manicures LLC, and a portion of donations will go to Friends of Megan’s Paws and Claws to help out our local animal shelter.

No appointment needed just come hang out, get your pup’s nails done, and support a good cause!

We will have 4 professional groomers ready to help you out this time! This way, we don’t have wait times like last time! ☺️

MALE HUSKY FOUND in Dearborn, MO near New Market Rd & N Co Rd Ee on Friday, June 13. No chip detected. He is very friendly and knows basic commands, and was wearing a harness when found. NOW is the time to make sure your dogs have their meds for the upcoming 4th of July holiday (literally just ONE MONTH away).

--Create a space for them where they can be safe!
--Refill anxiety meds NOW so you have plenty for them; you KNOW fireworks will be going off ALL WEEK.
--Update tags, chips, mend fences/latches/hooks/leads when they do have to go out.
--Write their name on their collar in sharpie if necessary! A pet that is lost that can be easily identified can be returned a LOT quicker than spending a night or 10 in the pound (which 99% of are full!)

Copper needs a new home due to owner’s health ‼️ PLEASE SHARE!

He’s only been around one German shepherd and he loves to play with him.

He has not been around cats.

Copper is a little over a year old, and believed to be a Mountain Cur mix. He weighs about 60 lbs and is neutered and microchipped.

He loves our grand children and is pretty protective of them when they’re around. But he has a tendency to want to jump up on the older kids/adults.

He absolutely loves going for walks and I’ve trained him to walk on the tread mill with me, lol. He loves playing fetch and actually brings the ball back. He will need room to run to help with his energetic nature.

We don’t know how the silly boy is still available for adoption. He’s seriously the best dog! Bo did a trial run with a family at their house and he did great. Unfortunately, their dog wasn’t doing well sharing the attention in the house and it wasn’t safe for Bo. However, we learned a lot from the experience… “Bo is an amazing and sweet dog. He’s so smart and getting much better about staying off furniture. He’s getting better on a leash just with simple praise and “holds”, but kind of forgets his name and won’t listen to commands when we’re walking (which is ok). I think giving him treats would help, but Apollo simply isn’t ready for that and may never be. We met a few neighborhood dog friends and Bo did great…everyone has been impressed by him and think he’s a sweetheart. He’s doing well with the robot vacuum and drops whatever I tell him to. He’s a wonderful, sweet dog. He does appear to be house trained and we’ve had no accidents so far. He’s also a giant food w***e and will definitely hang around the kitchen and dinner table hoping for scraps. He LOVES getting brushed and does well with being pampered haha.” If you’re interested in meeting Bo or have questions, then please don’t hesitate to reach out.
