Éowyn's Cat Colony

Éowyn's Cat Colony We are volunteers who are working in Smithville, MO to TNR our feral cat population. We will help trap and neuter feral cats in Smithville, MO.

Éowyn's Cat Colony was started in memory of Éowyn Maynes, who died of brain cancer at age 5. She loved cats, and we share her love by helping our community with our feral cat population. We will also do what we can to find foster homes for feral mom's and their babies so those kittens can be adopted.

Kitten season is rapidly approaching. We want to take this time to remind you of how we can help.

✅️Yes, we will help you spay/neuter cats or kittens. We have a Venmo set up for donations to help cover this expense.
💲We appreciate any donations you can make!

❌️Unfortunately, we cannot take in any stray/feral cats. We do not have a space for this.
✅️We can loan you a wonderful 3-tiered cat cage if you are willing to foster any stray cat/kittens you find.

Hay is for horses, Straw is for strays

As the cold and snow settle in, it is important to remeber to provide proper shelter for those animals that have nowhere to go.

This sweet mama was caught in the Forest Oaks subdivision. She is 2 years old and had 2 litters of kittens this summer. The finder has been trying to win her trust all summer long. They were finally able to catch her and 4 kittens this week. Send us a message if you would like to donate to getting them spayed/neutered or are interested in adopting them. We will put you in contact with the finder. 😻🐈‍⬛️

ETA: People can donate to Raven and her kittens care with this Venmo. Please mention "Forest Oaks" in the memo.

Éowyn's Cat Colony also has an account at Central Bank. People are welcome to go to Central Bank to make a donation as well. Donations to the bank account are harder to track if they are directed to a specific cat/colony though. I will do everything I can to make sure your donation goes to this cat and kittens care, but if we raise more than needed we will use remaining funds for feral cats in Smithville.
