ars field trialing English Springer Spaniels. His experience working with exceptional dogs, including FC, AFC, CFC Rockeys Quest, helped shape the training philosophy and knowledge he applies today. Gary has also had the honor of judging the U.S. National Open Championship, an experience that further strengthened his appreciation for elite working dogs. At Rockey’s Kennels, Gary focuses on training and field trialing, while Josh oversees the breeding program. Each year, they produce a limited number of Springer and Cocker litters with an emphasis on natural ability, strong genetics, health, and trainability. Their dogs have gone on to succeed not only as hunting companions, but also in agility, scent work, detection, competition, and family homes. Their training philosophy centers on identifying a dog’s natural strengths, developing those abilities through positive reinforcement and repetition, and helping each dog reach its full potential. Health and genetics remain a top priority, with OFA certifications and Embark DNA testing utilized to help produce healthy, capable companions for years to come.

We have decided to make Rocket available. Rocket is a great 3 year old dog that has had his health testing completed. Hips-Good Elbows-Normal Eyes-Clear. Rocket is a finished dog that is steady to wing and shot. He has have loads of birds shot over him and has run in brace work.

He has had a lot of work and effort put into him and he is going to make someone a great hunting dog. He has a great on and off switch, and very great temperament.

Started Gundog Prospects Available

We currently have three exceptional started dogs available: Stryker, Jason, and Alfie—all boasting impeccable pedigrees and the natural ability, temperament, and foundation to become outstanding hunting companions.

Stryker & Jason are both 1½ years old, Brothers, and have a solid foundation of training, including obedience, kennel training, and gun-dog work. They have had birds shot over them and are retrieving to hand.

Both boys have wonderful temperaments. They are gentle, intelligent, eager to please, and have an excellent on/off switch. They can turn it on in the field when it’s time to hunt and settle down nicely when it’s time to relax. We believe they would make exceptional family companions as well as serious hunting partners.

These are not just dogs with impressive pedigrees—they are dogs with real-world experience and a foundation already in place, giving their new owners a great head start.
