Ok everyone. We are thinking about trying something different at the farm. Would anyone be interested in a one day Critter Camp? This would be an informational and educational camp with interactions with different types of animals. Everyone always loves playing with our kitties when they come to the barn, but we would have snakes, spiders, gekos, goats, cats, ponies and horses. No riding would be involved. Just petting, touching and learning about different animals we have at our disposal. How the live, what they eat and why they are important. Please let us know if your children or yourselves would be interested. Thank you!

Today is Nikki's birthday! I am so proud of the person that she has become. She is kind, compassionate, and very patient. She absolutely loves what she does teaching people to ride and care for horses. She was told once that she should not get close to students and their families. It's just a job. That that was a flaw that she had. For her it is not just a job! She genuinely cares about the lives and families of her students. And it shows every day. They are all a part of our family, and I am so grateful that she wants to share her passion with others. She has built a wonderful program and is proud to own her own slice of heaven. It is a labor of love. I hope all of you will help me wish her a Happy Birthday!

We are heartbroken to share that our horse Skye passed away early this morning after a brief but courageous fight with colic. Skye was a former racehorse who found his true calling in teaching lessons. He was always kind, patient, and willing to try his hardest for his students, from the littlest of our students to the experienced adults. At 26, he was in remarkable shape for an OTTB, and he had been well loved by many people for many years. We were extremely lucky to have been his home for the past 5 years, though we wish we'd had more time with him.
